I've got them both in a similar tier around 8-10. I see both as good top 6 fwds.
Cozens has been rated higher all year, but I don't see massive upside he might have been projected for after the Hlinka/Gretzky. He'll score goals, 20-30 annually I'd think, but I don't see him as a #1C or PPG guy.
Cozens has the size & strength advantage, but Newhook plays faster & is more dynamic. Even in the u18's you see Newhook has game-breaking skill. When you talk about the way the game is trending, Newhook fits right in as a modern NHL player.
I guess the debate for me is; the bigger, meat & potatoes type vs the dynamic skill + higher pace game of Newhook.
But it is hard to ignore size. Especially when that size can score goals & contribute offensively....
