  1. Yup, its unfortunate too cause it was great (and a clear standout storyline on RAW) but now its lost its luster.
  2. The needle tears a hole, The old familiar sting

  3. He has looked good, he has the hockey smarts, and strength to play at this level. I think for Bo the issue was feeling more comfortable, and tonight he was comfortable & had a real solid game. I would prefer to see him back in London, as I don't think he is ready to be a full time player and bring what we would like as a full time player, but getting 9 games till some guys come back is certainly something we should look at, especially if he can continue to build off tonight's game in the remaining exhibition games.
  4. Gaunce has really impressed me. He's great on the forecheck with his size and ability to attack the puck, his wingspan is great aswell which plays into it. He's smart defensively and is always in position to break up a play in our half of the ice, then even offensively the way he goes to the net & the way he plays around the net, then also knowing when to pass & make plays, aswell as having the ability to make good plays. I really like this player. And I think this is a player Torts will really love aswell.
  5. I just find Heyman entertaining (I don't watch smackdown) Punk's message is the same, I want Heyman, I'm gunna do this to Heyman, blah blah. Heyman atleast changes it up a bit in whats hes sayings, and goes overboard to add entertainment to his segments. Anyways all I'm hoping for from this Matadores thing is good matches. If they atleast give us that, I'll be happy.
  6. Hmmm, when I'm in the mood to watch RAW, I'm always interested to see Steph and if she does well in her segments, cause sometimes she doesn't & it just sorta falls flat, but you said she did well, so I'm interested to see it. And honestly, do you guys even care about those Los Matadores or whatever? Personally I don't. Hopefully they are good in the ring and can put on good matches, but I'm not excited for there debut, even with the WWE trying to hype them up.
  7. Anyways I missed the last hour, how has the show been from the opening segment till now?
  8. Yeah I watched the review I always watch, and when I heard about Miz's dad I went back and found that match specifically to see it, funny stuff. His mom was like crying and he just didnt care at all lol idk his stuff is always a bit different, and the way he presents it, is sometimes different, he's just in another level from Punk as far as promo's go (and thats no knock on Punk who is very good in his own right)
  9. Thats it guys. I've finally caved. I've downloaded the WWE App, them showing me how to download it for the 1000th time and saying its "a great experience" has finally changed my opinion on it and got me interested in downloading it.
  10. So Punk is going to come out, and cut the same basic promo he has been cutting since the thing with Lesnar started? Ugh, I just want to hear Heyman get the mic, that guy is absolute gold.
  11. I know eh? It would be nice for the neck on that shirt to come down a bit lower too. LOL really Zack Ryder the face? Ugh wow, really Steph?
  12. I think he might actually have a good chance to make the team. He is one of the those players that does great things, and makes great plays, but very quietly. He's quiet & effective. And can do alot of things with his skillset. I think its Schroeder job, but if JS is unfortunately out for a significant period of time, it could be the opportunity Gaunce needs.
  13. Yup I agree, I'm optimistic they will try to make her, her own character though. But obviously its going to be somewhat like Vince in the sense shes controls the company, but she wont be nearly the character & she can't take bumps or anything so we will just have to see if it starts to get good. AJ was great in the segment though.
  14. Yeah I agree. Thats how I felt coming into it. I think seeing that firey side of her, kinda took away that fake part of it for me. I can see her as a heel now, my concerns are the acting, cause as the main storyline she has to be good in her segments, and what they will do with it (whats the endgame) since she can't get in the ring. Its early, and I'm not expecting like a blockbuster, must see every week type of storyline or anything, but it was a solid start, exceeded my expectations for sure. I'm cautious with it though. Yeah that entire storyline was god awful, Styles should have been doing so much better things.
  15. Yeah that was terrible, turned me off the product completely.
  16. Yeah hopefully, solid start (and its just a start as you say) so we will see how it goes. Anyways, to trash the show/company a bit. Sabin absolutely sucks, he's like Cena with some in ring talent. Or maybe Del Rio is a better comparison, though Sabin is more annoying (like Cena) whereas Del Rio is just boring. And I really wish Mickie was still with them, but she probably left to pursue her music career. Also disappointed we didn't get any Austin Aries on this show.
  17. I don't see it like the Daniel Bryan thing cause Dixie Carter isn't the main focus of the show, she isn't in a stable, and she isn't all controlling like HHH is. This Dixie thing could be good, we will just have to see where they go with it. I liked her trashing AJ, great way to get heat. And they picked a good guy (AJ) & good time to do this aswell.
  18. Interesting Impact with the Dixie/Styles thing. There was some decent matches, some entertaining stuff, then of course bad/boring segments. Really not enjoying Sabin, and the MEM thing is just getting old for me, I like all the characters in that stable, just tired of the faction. And I skipped the Tag Team match altogether. Originally I didn't want to see Dixie turn heel cause I worried her acting would be atrocious, like Brooke Hogan or worse, but she was actually pretty good. After last weeks great show though, there was no way this one would compete, but it was alright. like a 6-6.5/10. And I see what you did there aswell Marleau
  19. I love how WWE fans say Hogan needs to go, and is a problem. But they would welcome him with open arms if he came to WWE. (not talking about anyone in here btw, mostly ppl on wrestleforum) Anyways I don't care either way, I don't see why people hate on him, he's fine as the GM IMO. Its a good role for him.
  20. Because TNA is good? If there is something you dislike say it? I do, its just for me, almost all of what WWE does I dislike, and there are only some things in TNA, I dislike. Thats why I'm biased in TNA's favour right now because I think its better. But I do try to keep an open mind to WWE. I give WWE credit for the things I like, but alot of what they do now I don't like, I hate what the company has become, and I used to love this company, thats why I bury it cause its frustrating & I want to see it be so much better. And no I don't order the WWE PPV's cause I don't want to blow $50-60 (or whatever) and take the risk of it being crappy like NoC. But I do plan on ordering BFG. Well I wouldn't put alot of the crap they put on to begin with. Predictable isn't always bad, like Styles winning the BFG series was very predictable, but it was still good, its just with WWE everything is predictable, and alot of it isn't good. If it was me, to improve the product (since I always bash it) I would start putting better matches on TV, getting away from HHH as the main focus, and start focusing more on the belts & the feuds (thats what I want TNA to do too, thats why I can't wait for A&8 to be over) Like right now the only title that means anything is the WWE title, and even that has become a sideshow to HHH. WWE should really build up characters & the belts, but there is so much politics & crap its hard to really get behind something because I always feel like they are going to drop the ball with it, and most times they do. F***
  21. Sorry to always bury the product like I do. But its frustrating, I want this to be good so badly, and I see they had a golden opportunity without Cena. And its another fail. It would be like watching the Canucks struggle this season to the point where we finish last at the end of the year (knock on wood) This product just makes me think back to the 05/06 season, and remember how frustrated I was at the end of alot of games. thats how it feels for me. I would much rather come here & be happy with the product like I am with TNA, than come in here & bury it.
  22. The PPV was pretty predictable, I think most of us knew most of what was going to happen for sometime now. lol I "watched" (had it on in the background while playing chell) until the Divas match then turned it off. I'm not even sure I'm going to be home to watch RAW tommorow, or if I even want too, they dont have anything thats exciting going on.
