  4. Again, he's just stating the value of a player that's been on the trade block for a considerable amount of time. It isn't some breakthrough by Kypreos to say a 3rd, anyone could have deduced that value. Nice job nitpicking the most insignificant aspect of the proposal, without actually commenting on the proposal itself.
  5. All it says is Georgiev's value is a 3rd -- which is a reasonable valuation.
  6. Not sure what that has to do with the proposal... @Teemu Selänne cheers on the decent proposal. It's a rarity to see ones that consider each team's perspective. Personally I think Halak can fetch a 4th/5th at most, but it's in the right ballpark.
  7. Nice trade. I see Nail is moving out his 1st to avoid drafting another player who drops in RL
  8. To SJS: Tyler Toffoli (1m ret. 2021-22 & 2022-23), Jacob MacDonald To NSH: 2022 SJS 1st, Adam Lowry, Yakov Trenin, Sean Tschigerl
  9. I was moreso referring to people in the thread and online in general, but yes them too. I never said ripping into healthcare workers was acceptable, so I'm not sure why you quoted me to point that out.
  10. It's really disgusting to see how some people dehumanize those they disagree with.
  11. To NYR: Aatu Raty, Samu Salminen To BUF: Connor McMichael
  12. Vancouver places Zach Bogosian on IR https://www.capfriendly.com/transactions/injuries/lightning
  13. To NJD: Karel Vejmelka To ARZ: Thomas Greiss, 2022 NJD 4th
  14. Btw the standings page on Fantrax has all the games played info and points per game if anyone wants to reference that.
  15. I drafted a team with a heavy schedule to start. Even with Hamilton not playing a game yet, I'm still 3rd in games played, only 10 behind @Phil The Thrillwho has the most. Not surprisingly, the top 3 teams are the 3 with the most games played. Meanwhile you have the fewest. Tough to truly tell how good everyone's team is with this schedule. What's more surprising is how well Burakovsky and Duclair have done for me. I don't think it's sustainable. Once others catch up in games played the standings should become a lot closer.
  16. Gives everyone two chances at winning. This 2nd half has been odd in scheduling though. Might feel like you're out of the race being in 8th, but you're 4th in points per game.
  17. Were they really thinking signing Kane would turn it all around? Surprised this didn't happen a bit sooner when the Oilers began their plummet, even though it's not all on his shoulders. No coach will be able to make the team a contender with the current lack of depth, defense, and goaltending.
  18. I don't understand why some defend him so much. It's not 2010 anymore, it's delusional to think he can be any team's starter.
  19. Let last night be a reminder that Halak is not the answer to any team's goaltending troubles. Not even Edmonton.
  20. Maybe this will stop all the trade proposals where people think we'll get a strong return for Halak.
  21. Marchand extra agitated this year, maybe because he knows it's his last chance at a playoff run, and even those odds are slim.
  22. Ducharme took a mediocre team to the finals, then had to deal with a depleted roster the following year. Montreal's struggles are more to do with Bergevin and bad luck with injuries than the coach IMO.
