  1. I'm not sure how Edmonton of all teams can afford to waive a defenseman.
  2. You can't just give away OEL or Myers. You'd have to pay a team to take on their salary, and it would leave a hole on defense as we don't have an internal replacement ready for those minutes. Our forwards have much more trade value, so if you can get a quality return there, then it's worth doing to better our future while also creating cap room.
  3. To BOS: Alex Ovechkin To DAL: William Nylander & Yegor Chinakhov
  4. To STL: Zach Bogosian To PHI: Eetu Tuulola
  5. Can't say I disagree with you much here. My mentality is that Chicago didn't deserve their 2010 cup, and their 2010 cup led to their next two cups. The fans got to celebrate plenty of undeserved success, so I wouldn't feel bad if they have to endure a Chicago Cubs level drought. It's a fair point that losing draft picks would hurt the new players. It would be fantastic to see these prospects demand trades to more respectable franchises, but that won't happen. The main reason I mentioned loss of draft picks is that it was a punishment the league could have easily handed out. If what you suggested were to happen, which I agree with, then no loss of draft picks would be required. I'd even add that Toews and Kane should have to donate a considerable amount of their paycheck to those charities. Neither would be making 10.5m if they didn't win those cups. Unfortunately we won't see justice.
  6. I alone won't make a dent of course. It would take thousands to follow suit, which I know won't happen. In general people much prefer to do what's easy/comfortable, rather than stick up for what they believe in.
  7. Ratings for all Hawks games being down would increase the odds of the league taking notice. It would show that other fanbases don't accept how the league mishandled this.
  8. I know they won't revisit it unfortunately. But I sure won't support that team by helping their ratings. That's the only way to get the league to notice, if everyone boycotted Chicago games.
  9. At the bare minimum: -Heavier financial fine. -Loss of significant draft picks. More that I feel should be done: -Suspensions to players active at the time. -Names removed from Stanley Cup. -Cup rings returned. Materials resold with funds going towards the victims.
  10. I refuse to watch a game involving the Blackhawks until the NHL properly punishes the team. Hope the Canucks crush them.

Robertson - Point - Rantanen Zegras - Hughes - Konecny Drouin - Thomas - Reinhart Khaira - Dickinson - Mikheyev Paquette, Dahlen Krug - Slavin Spurgeon - Bouchard Gostisbehere - DeMelo Roy Merzlikins Anyone bolded could be moved The Sabres are ready to start making trades. While there are a handful of players listed as available, not all will be moved. @Sygvard and @Sestito'sHandMadeVodka have done an excellent job rebuilding this team. Not only with a quality roster, but with full pipeline of prospects. I will not be gutting the team to go all in, but will be looking to make some tweaks to prepare the Sabres for playoff success in the coming years.
