In the sense that since he's a scumbag, it's possible he was a bad influence on other players. A lot of things went wrong in Utica, as evidenced by the lack of player development, so I don't assume they always made wise choices in who they kept around. Just look at who the Blackhawks kept in their organization, albeit it's a different scenario.
Regardless, it's just a thought. No way to prove it one way or the other, so it's petty to argue over. At the end of the day, it feels gross knowing we had him in our organization.
I think @Timråfan makes a good point.
Now that we know Boucher's true character, it's possible/likely that he had a negative influence on teammates in Utica.
Sounds like he's among the worst people in our society, so I have no problem with him being in his company.
Send the people that covered it up there too while we're at it.
there were bigger names, like Doughty and Klingberg, but I based it on who made the biggest contribution to the franchise.
Heavy emphasis on playoff production, as Pelech and Vlasic led my team in playoff points during each respective run.
The last time this image will be used. After 6 1/2 seasons at the helm, including back to back cup finals appearances, here's a collection of the greatest to suit up for the Rangers over the years.
Marchessault - Kuznetsov - T.Johnson
Pacioretty - Malkin - Foegele
Giroux - Thornton - Granlund
M.Karlsson - Brassard - Connolly
D.Sedin - H.Sedin
Pelech - Vlasic
Edmundson - Schmidt
DeMelo - Clifton
Ellis
Luongo
Lundqvist
Imo they're a good tool to have for egregious posts.
I don't expect reasonable discussion from some, so it's not always worth the time to offer insight.
I'm sure there are some that are doing this, but granted you don't see that much here.
But I agree, the lengths some here will go to, is quite disgusting.
