    Guerin has grown on me alot. These former player executives truly know how to run things as they all have experience negotiating contracts and what a winning locker room needs. Guerin, Blake, Sakic, Yzerman, etc have all had success as executives. Love the "take no $#&+" attitude from Guerin here. Talbot has been a career 1B. He's never been super successful as a 1A.

    I like Husso but he's a little unproven. We'll see how he performs on a bottom feeding Wings team. He could be the difference maker though!

    If we can get an OTTAWA first round pick for Tyler freaking Myers.. you do that 10 times out of 10. No way we get a 2023 1st in my opinion, but you never know. Ottawa seems to want to improve overnight and push for the playoffs.

    New CBA states you can't put conditions on draft picks on the basis of a player re-signing or not.

    Don't think Manson will be any cheaper than 5M. Id take him at 6M though as I like him more than Myers. He really showed up in the playoffs.

    Georgiev must be absolutely hyped. As a goaltender, playing in front of a quality team is huge for your stock. Rangers were obviously good too, but relied on offense/shotty defence way too often. He will do well with Colorado. Nice move by Sakic. With that roster, goaltending is the lowest priority. Annunen looks somewhat promising too.

    Tampa just won back to back cups with a 9m goaltender. We have a very happy medium with a 5m Demko.

    Apparently Letang keeps himself in great shape and has a strict training regime. Doesn't surprise me the pens are willing to gamble with a six year deal. Great cap hit to add more pieces while Crosby is still around. Letang is still amongst the elite offensive defensemen.

    Calling it. Kakko or Schneider and NYR 1st. We're getting 2 pieces not 3.

    Guy almost score a PPG this season. Plus he's huge. I'm all over this. Not sure why there are some doubters. Sure he's 27, but some people are just late bloomers!

    He signed a one-way deal, so stuffing him in the minors will surely make him second guess sticking with Van.

    He wasn't terrible, but he wasn't very good either. Much rather see the likes of juulsen, rathbone, burroughs get playing time.

    Nice. Hopefully he can put up atleast 60 points this season. Got out of that rediculous qualifying offer too.

    Totally. Miller had a great year, but either Wright or Slafkovaky will likely be consistent 70 point players in this league. And that's being fairly generous. Not to mention age is absolutely on their side. This team needs to make tough choices to compete long term.

    IMO if Jersey's 2OA pick is involved on the deal, it's 1 for 1. Miller for 2OA. I still take that.
