Statistically, very likely REINHART turn out to be a great player, and a six and ten pick quite likely at least one is a flop. So yes, rather 1c of the future than 2 prospects that are top of second line and likely one will flop.
If we trade up for the first I have a feeling it will involve Tanev. Don't like it because I really like his game and he is youth, but I think he wants a payday and we don't want people on your team that are just looking to cash in.
Ya if we had a 9 or 10 pick he would be a great choice just think top 5 or Nylander is better for our team
We need a new USA boy. If he for some weird reason drops to 24(Anaheim maybe giving us this pick), I would grab him in a flash... His stick handling is sick. I think he will be gone by 16 though and we don't have a pick in that range.
I would move a veteran out for more prospects and picks either at this draft or next trade deadline... More youth needed. We have a good veteran core.... To much veteran presence one might say... Move a Dman and Kesler for prospects and young players and I will be happy. Maybe Higgins or Hasen or Richardson next trade deadline if we look on the outside.
Haha true...
I could write the two step procedure for everyone, but I am pretty sure most people on here know I was referring to if we trade Kesler to Anaheim and get the 10th pick....
