[GDT/PGT] Vancouver Canucks vs Toronto Maple Leaves | April 18 | SNP

I applaud JT for speaking his mind, wish more players did that instead of towing the company line, getting the same generic emotionless responses for every situation gets old fast. Nice to see some honest passion and someone saying what I'm not positive but suspect others on the team are thinking and feeling. -

Agree with JT health and safety concerns, no games, 1 practice, 90% of the team in covid protocol in what 3 or 4 weeks, that would be difficult even with a fully healthy bunch of athletes, let alone ones who whatever % of those had covid and have lingering after effects ie lowered stamina, strength, muscle tone, lung capacity etc etc , I would bet money are most are not going to be in playing shape. Besides that the absolute $&!# condensed schedule raises the risks for injury, then the NHL and team would be up $&!# creek. Was the revamped schedule made in consultation with the team ? If not and it was forced and major injuries happen the optics won't look good for the NHL organization. If by some huge miracle the canucks play out of their minds and other teams above fall, the canucks make the playoffs, They'll be at a huge disadvantage going in fatigue wise...I'll support them but I also understand their concerns and protests. -
1.Can't see Canucks protecting Highmore 2.Can't see him being chosen in expansion draft. 3. Can see him trying to compete for a 4th line spot next year but losing out to someone else in our system. 4. With limited info organizationally, Only positive I can even remotely see is the -225k payroll saving...not including whatever slight raise Gaudette will get next year. 5. Ultimately imo they sold low, made trade for sake of making a trade.

Not semantics at all.....at the end of shootout when one team ultimately has more goals, they are declared the ___________? If one team has more goals at the end of shootout it is not a _________ game and the team with less goals is the _________ of the game therefore the point they got for ultimately __________ the game is called the loser point.....if the game was continued after regulation, guess what they are still playing the game, its not the end of the game. Conclusion of the game is when one team scores more goals by all avenues as per game structure rules then everyone goes off the ice and goes home, there is always a winner now, which means there is always a loser. OT and shootout is part of the game structure. End of regulation does not mean end of the game.

The NHL has chosen to structure their game where everyone game now has a winner and loser and their procedure implemented into their game format is OT and Shootout, then end of game. A game isn't over until one team gets more goals, and everyone has left the ice. Anyhow night shift finished, been up for 19hrs, bedtime. 4-3 Canucks in regulation time, Vesey gets a goal.

I have had 7+ concussions of varying severity, I add in the plus because I have several other instances where I cannot remember what happened but did not get diagnosed. I digress, Never have I ever had a doc tell me a definitive timeline of recovery let alone suggest three days..I would think...hope that there is something lost in translation and they mean he will be off for 3 days before his next assessment, not meaning that he will be better in 3 days. Even though the chances are slim to none we see him this year, I hope for a quick recovery, but hope he takes his time and doesn't rush back for their playoffs.

Too be honest I'm a little conflicted, while I'm not scared of the vaccine, I wouldn't mind waiting to see outcomes of the first wave of them before getting it, but for 12hrs a day, I am within inches at pretty much all times of at risk individuals and my wife and 2 kids are immunocompromised(one with an extreme respiratory illness) and it would kill me if somehow I got covid and passed to my clients or God forbid my wife or kids

Checked out the tool, thanks for posting. I was yes for 4 out of the 6 questions and it estimates "There are between 0 and 5,146,151 people in front of you in the queue for a COVID vaccine. You should expect to receive your two doses of vaccine and be fully protected by between early February 2021 and mid May 2021." My Coordinator and manager in Island Health are actually having to petition to get it sooner, meanwhile all my residential high risk clients and coworkers just have to wait, as of yet we haven't been offered it and the latest update as of yesterday was they had no idea when it would come.

Was never a fan of that logo from day one. Get rid of it, Canucks are no longer owned by orca Bay Sports and Entertainment. Design a new logo, reuse or redesign an old logo, maybe a design that encompasses all of BC's diversity.

He can as long as we can have Montreal's Zamboni driver at the ready
