I'm actually not familiar with Bob Davidson, but Gordie Drillon fits the bill quite well I'd say. After looking up Davidson's stats, it looks like he'd fit in there too.
I can relate, man. Thankfully, my younger brother has humoured my ramblings about hockey history to the point where he actually knows a fair bit himself and at least knows what I'm talking about.
and the older you get, more people don't know what your talking about. i remember watching jackie robinson play for the dodgers. shoeless joe jackson was before my time though. i still read his history.
