  1. When I first started watching Canucks hockey 18 years ago, the Canucks had two young rookies, Daniel and Henrik Sedin, drafted 2nd and 3rd overall. While they showed promise, they weren't quite what people wanted and many people mocked them for it.
     
    Still, they persevered and worked so hard that they became two of the best players in the world for a few years. They let our team right to the cusp of a Stanley Cup and are by far the best Canucks of all-time. I knew their retirement might come this year, but it's almost an unfathomable feeling, knowing they won't be on the roster next year. In all my time as a fan, I've never seen a Canuck roster without the Sedin twins.
     
    I'll be forever grateful for what they did and players and as people contributing to the community here. I'm so proud of them and the legacy they've created and will leave. Daniel and Henrik, enjoy your retirement. You deserve a rest now.
