  1. I found this to be the case as well, which is why I just decided it wasn't worth it and went with SN Now.
  2. I believe it depends on which country you're in, but I've heard something similar. I can't remember if that was in relation to Canada or the US though.
  3. I do wonder if Juolevi can be groomed to be the defensive d-man that Hughes needs. Hughes really does miss Tanev.
  4. I've been using SNNow for a few years since I don't watch any other TV. In my experience, it's about 20 seconds behind TV or radio watchers/listeners and for whatever reason, I only get 720p or lower. It's fine for me though, I just watch on a 24" monitor, so I don't need 4k or anything. I've heard tons of complaints about the app, but if you simply watch via a computer and not a phone app (connect via HDMI to a TV if you like), it seems to work much better. I've never had a single blackout for Canucks games here in BC.
  5. I don't know any sports other than hockey lol, so I could only really participate on that front.
  6. Is Jeff Petry the next Mark Giordano? Really late bloomer into Norris winner? Guy's been putting up solid point totals for a few years and is now at 11 points 9 games.

This would be really interesting. 40-50 points in each of the last 3 seasons. Leaving Edmonton was the best thing for him.

  7. Yes, but I think they only make it that far due to the format. I fully expect whoever makes it that far to lose in the conference finals.
  8. Hasn't played enough games to be eligible I'm pretty sure.
  9. Maybe getting back to his MTL days? In his last season before we signed him, he had a career year with 22 points.
  10. I think the North has a pretty weak chance of going deep. While I think the bottom of the North (5th/6th, not 7th) is one of the strongest of all four divisions, I think the top two are probably the weakest top two.
  11. No GM with any PR sense will touch him with a 39 and a half foot pole. On top of that, he has no defense. A 50-point defenseman probably isn't worth the PR nightmare. It's not like he's a Norris candidate since his defense is so shoddy.
  12. Has the AHL season begun yet? I would really prefer Mikey to be in Utica playing games as the starter.
  13. They're different players for sure, but given how strong Hoglander is despite his short stature, I wouldn't be surprised to see him with the occasional rare fight, especially since he'll certainly piss off some opponents with his tenaciousness.
  14. Sloppy defense on both sides, but both sides also look dangerous offensively. Hoglander is fighting with Motte as the next Hansen/Burrows for the hardest working player.
  15. Edler's been at 99 goals for a very long time. He hasn't scored a goal since Feb 25, 2020. 34-game goal-less drought if you count the 2020 playoffs.
  16. Didn't you get the memo? Once players move on from Vancouver, we have to stop overrating them and start underrating them.
  17. I would've like to see it spread out more, but I still look forward to it.
  18. I'm noticing more and more that Schmidt is more about the subtle smart plays than the flashy ones. I feel he's played much better in recent games, though there's a chance that's just the competition level.
  19. ahaha I love Beags just taunting him. Great tilt between Mac and Tkachuk.
