  1. Only if he stays up here for a certain number of days or games. Something like 10 games or 21 days. Not sure on the exact numbers.
  2. Probably. People often left out the accent on the 'a' when he spelled it without an 'e' and pronounced it "Bart-schi".
  3. Possibly, but I'd hope Dhaliwal wouldn't be that disingenuous.
  4. Ferland has a history of putting up borderline top six offensive numbers. He's far more than a simple fighter.
  5. I'm so pumped to see Baer back with the team. Hoping he plays his way back on to the team.

Hope Bear fills the net tonight with a hatty!!!  Glad he didn't get plunked off waivers.  That was good fortune for us.

  6. Also worth noting that this is "an agent", not EP's actual agent, in case anyone was misreading that like I did the first time.
  7. Glad he's being supported and they're trying to help him through this. He definitely screwed up, but good to see that reparations are trying to be made.
  8. From what I can tell, he was an underrated offensive defenseman. Wish I could've seen him and others like McCarthy play.
  9. I can't know for sure, as you say, but we can draw conclusions. When Tryamkin came to the NHL and played on our team, our d-core was much, much weaker than it is now. Beating out Del Zotto, Pouliot, and Gudbranson is much easier than beating out Myers, Stecher, and Benn. Secondly, He arrived in Vancouver after some time in the KHL with Yekaterinburg Automobilist and he was scoring about 0.21 points per game with them over in the KHL in 53 games in 2015-16. Immediately upon his return the KHL, he was better than ever. Last year, he dropped off a bit, but was still better than in 2015-16. This year, he had 4 points in 21 games. He is 25 years old and his progression has slowed down and is having his roughest year offensively since 2014-15. If he comes over, I have no problem with giving him some time to show his stuff, but I don't think it's reasonable to assume he will instantly usurp Stecher and Benn based on what we've seen in the KHL (and his previous time in Vancouver).
  10. He won't respond. He's been taking an unplanned break of indefinite duration.
  11. Of those guys, I think only Juolevi has a good chance at making the bigs as a regular next year. Even then, I don't think he could come even remotely close to as good as Tanev by next year. Moving out Tanev for any of those guys is a big downgrade.
  12. Tryamkin wouldn't crack this roster as it is right now. His return would make no difference to our team right now IMO. The only "maybe" is if injuries hit us, but even then, he'd only be playing bottom pairing minutes and wouldn't have a significant impact IMO.
  13. Every time I added Seattle in my EA Sports 32-team expansion games, I always move Arizona. Definitely make the most sense to have in the Central.
  14. Pettersson is 6th in points-per-game in the NHL. Miller and Boeser are both tied for 15th. Pretty cool to have so many bonafide top end guys right now.

Yeah, and I know this is still extremely early, but it's difficult for me not to be excited:

      best goal differential: +17

      2nd best faceoffwin%

      5th in pp

      4th in pk

      4th lowest GA/G

      4th highest GF/G

and quinn is tied for rookie scoring lead. everybody is doing good. a real team mentality.

  15. Sure, it's unlikely we're actually a team that will go 8-1-1 every 10 games this year and we will undoubtedly run into notable injury problems and slumps where we will do more poorly, but at the end of the day, I'm now definitely expecting that we will be very competitive for a playoff spot come April.
  16. Sloppy play in our zone. We'll live this one, but we can't have that regularly against better teams.
  17. He's playing pretty decently. Against a lot of netminders it'd be 5 or 6 goals tonight so far.
  18. I think this is it. He loves helping out teammates probably more than scoring himself. It would match his personality. That said, his shot is night and day better than Hanks so he should definitely mix it up more often and shoot.
  19. I'm drooling at the prospect of seeing Petey's competitiveness in the heat of playoff intensity.
