  1. Based on what? We haven't seen him play much in a long time. I'd wager there are very good odds he's a capable 3rd liner or 4th liner at the very worst.
  2. To be fair, Quinn is actually the oldest child and probably has always been somewhat a leader in the family.
  3. Yeah, Miller simply had a normal season. Most people didn't expect him to get 99 points again. A point-per-game is all we should expect from him with decent defense. Anything extra is gravy.
  4. Not an unrealistic prediction, honestly. Personally, I could see his goal total ramping up to almost 50 with maybe 60 assists for maybe 108 or 109 points. He's an incredible shooter. Naslund, but with a harder shot.
  5. He's a fitness freak. Like this, he could keep up his prime until his mid 30s.
  6. Seems crazy, but we are one long-term Hughes or Demko injury away from that reality.
  7. Yeah. Tons of other great candidates could rise to the top as well. It's far from a forgone conclusion that it'll just be Marnier, Hischier, and Petey. The former two were 2nd and 3rd--Petey was 7th. Personally, I don't even think he deserved to finish that high (though he deserved at least some attention). Even a guy like Chandler Stephensen is criminally underrated defensively.
  8. IMO Bo would've been worth every penny of $6.5M and maybe even as high as $7M, but $8.5 is waay above his level.
  9. Pretty sure his meme rate went up after that.
  10. Annoys me how they haven't been consistent in this testing over the years. Larkin got that huge unfair advantage.
  11. Retires young and after a 75-game season, but his future self will almost certainly thank him for his decision to retire become it got real bad.
  12. Pettersson won't and shouldn't win the Selke unless his face-offs become at least average and he's very far from that. His PK work is also a bit underwhelming. He has a better chance at Lady Byng IMO. That said, I'd say the chances of winning a major award is probably less than 5%. A lot of very optimistic people here.
  13. I don't recall it, so it may have been some sort of speculation. Regardless, it's a huge moment in a teammate's life, so not surprising he'd go out of his way to like it even if he's mostly staying off.
  14. He was on about a 40-point pace in his first year with us, but really struggled after that.
  15. I'm almost certain that's edited, but maybe I'm wrong. Notice how similar the C and F look. Pretty sure it's a type font.

    Kevin Bieksa | #3 | D

Bieksa fought Fedor Fedorov in training camp 2004 or something like that. Brian Burke has a great story about it. Look it up on YouTube.
  17. Oh, I though you said they weren't supposed to have played together. So all three have to have played in the same year together?
  18. Yeah, people say the dead puck era started around 1995, but I have a hard time with that considering Mario scored 161 points in 1995-96.
  19. Name the last season in which a player had 160+ points and who it was (bonus for the exact number of points).
