Chronic pain. Chronic exhaustion. Chronic brain fog. I got so much chronic I could open up my own cannabis dispensary.

I feel for you Nucker. My mom had both (3?) types of arthritis and lived her last 20 years in absolute pain. It was heart-breaking watching her daily struggles. At least if I get/have arthritis, I have memories from 30 years of mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, and working out I can look back on. My mom had a pretty sh!tty life in comparison. Hope things improve for you.

First night using a CPAP machine in 5 years. First time using one was a disaster. Hopefully this time is better. At least it's not the full face mask version. Those things suck.

Was using it consistently until last month when for some reason there was a distilled water shortage. Feels good though in the morning after using it. Gotta stick with it mah man, its for your health. Im using just the one covering the nose. I find the full face one dries out my throat in the mornings

I have obstructive sleep apnea and insomnia. IF it works, maybe it fixes or helps my insomnia. 5 years ago they gave me one with the face mask to try for 5 weeks and it was pure misery. Hated wearing it. Always took me 2 hours to sleep, if I got any sleep/ Last night was a poor start as I didn't sleep then either. Finally removed it at 430 but it was too late to get any rest. And still couldn't get out of bed until 10. At least I barely notice I'm wearing it.

If, and yes I'm dreaming big here, IF the Canucks win the Cup this year, will jersey man get a statue in his honour?

@Devron44, Smyl himself said that's what propelled him to take action, which is what led to the removal of Green from the franchise. That clown might have been allowed to destroy the team for another month if the team's hand hadn't been forced.

@King Heffy weren’t we already talking to JR and Bruce a few days prior. Regardless I don’t like being the team known for tossing jerseys. That’s for Edmonton and Toronto. It worked out but I don’t wanna see that again

Listening to the Pope complain about people choosing not to have kids is hilarious. He's just salty because his evil cult needs children to molest and murder.

^Almost forgot. Also control calories more. Try a two meal-a-day routine, for example. You eat your meals within an 8 hr window, thus the body digests for 15-17 hrs.
Not so easy to start, but these routines are a natural way to get the body/mind into rhythms that may be both, sustainable & beneficial to health, rest, etc...

At the time my insomnia started I never spent much time at night on electronics. I usually read before bed. Now, though I sometimes stay up til 1am or later. But that's because I can't get out of bed until 10. I don't drink much, maybe 2-3 drinks a week max. I also quit coffee and sugar for several months. On 3 separate occasions I tried getting back to the gym, despite averaging 4 hours of sleep a night. I was going pretty hard, but each time after 3 months my sleeping would get way worse and I'd have to quit. The last time I worked out was January 2021. And then I started getting 0-3 hours of sleep. My sleep hygiene rn is totally crappy but it's a result of being mentally and physically beat down all the time. I do appreciate all the advice and stuff. There's so many moving parts that I'm pretty sure it's incurable at this point.

First Christmas without Mom AND first Christmas where dad and I (Dad did 90% of the work) did the turkey dinner for the family. And it wasn't a disaster.

@MikeBossy said it super nice!

I bet your Mom was great. Glad you took a moment to honor her dinners!

Instead of shutting things down again (cos that worked so well the first time around) and handing out more CERB payments why the EFF doesn't the government increase payments for people on disability? The pittance they issue every month would have been a starvation wage even way back in the '60s.

I didn't mind the first lockdown personally because that was the most, and only, time off work I had had in 20 years.
As for disability, they pay $850. A month. I'm lucky though because I moved back home a couple years ago and my parents decided to not charge me rent. And I have no car payments. But even so, I can't live off that pittance. It's so frustrating, especially knowing there are so many of us who want to but can't work for whatever reason and our own government doesn't give a sh!t about us. They'd rather give multi-million dollar handouts to multi-million dollar businesses. FFS there needs to be a revolution in this country.
