  1. Can't always believe your eyes...does he feel or smell bigger?... Taller yes by maybe 1.5" but Bo is an Ox he was playing at over 220Lbs. in the spring and Mngt. told him to work out and trim down. He is now 216 Lbs and ripped. I think Gaunce is still at his drafted weight of 207 Lbs but he might be pushing 6' 3" now, he might still have some baby fat to convert to muscle as well.
  2. Bettman won't mind...? Jake just maim...no serious mauling and no tearing heads off...goals...goals are good.
  3. Uhmmm. the Sedins are two players ...so add Hansen ....
  4. Horvat's huge he's a 200' player...they don't come any bigger. Gaunce is about the same size maybe 201'.
  5. Ya but ever try to hit a fart...
  6. That was his draft day stats. at 206 Lbs. Bo said he was playing at over 220 (223 as I remember) last spring and was told to work out and trim down.
  7. All those guys plus Shinkaruk and Virtanen could be our top 6 in 2 or 3 years. After the Sedins win a cup or 2 for us. Shinkaruk / McCann / Virtanen Gaunce / Horvat / Cassels Cassels or McCann for 1st line center. 2nd line is a killer shutdown line and should produce lots of points. That leaves the Sedins on the 3rd line for a year or retired if it takes 3 years for that to happen.
  8. I said barely legal. It was almost charging, almost to high and almost blindside.
  9. Ha, ha...Try (as he might he's not) amkin me believe until he gets over here.
  10. Ahhhh....the McNally fiasco and now there screwing with Hutton... boys a BA or BSc are BS they will not get you where you want to go. Get a doctorate or get a paycheque! Here's hoping to see both of them try there luck in the AHL this year. Hutton at least should do better then Anderson or Tommerines even, we really need a PMD this post season anyway, if we get there.
  11. Bo said he was playing at over 220 Lbs. last spring and was told by management to lose a few pounds. He got ripped in the process, unfortunately guys like Pitlick take it as a challenge to knock him down and go looking for it. There is no way Pitlick wins a one on one battle with Horvat, without taking a blindside run that was barely legal.
  12. If he is at the middle of the range he has been listed at (235-265 or so) that would be 250 lbs. on a 6' 7" frame that's a power forward in basketball...he doesn't need to fill out. ( Chara is 265 and 6' 9") We have been discussing how good his shot is, Edler hard and Salo accurate from the samples given so his shot is developed, there is no let alone to it. Trye just needs to put the package together, make the train move in the right direction and pull in on time for the crunch.
  13. Hugo Boho I mentioned earlier that he was now listed at 6' 1" and 216 which is down from 223 last spring. Bo is taller and leaner, ripped and much faster then last year!
  14. See above. Tree has a wicked hard shot and can skate with the puck, fast for a big guy. Tap that potential big guy.
  15. What's up with our offensive D. prospects? Subban is tearing it up but all the rest are tearing me up... Tree has 1 point in 17 games, Forsling has 2 in 11 games, Hutton has 0 in 4, Mceneny has 2 in 7 games. The first 2 are playing in men's leagues but are getting minutes...hopefully it starts to happen for them soon.
  16. I remember his stats bouncing around a lot during rookie camp from 235 up to 270 Lbs. and 6' 6" up to 6' 8". Sounds like he slouches on occasion and binge eats....
  17. Cheers! Can they score less then 0 like the current 4th line. Call them up!
  18. Regardless of his current classification the Canucks must be allowed to replace him on the roster until he is ready to rejoin the team. Otherwise a team could have 3 or 4 players on conditioning stints and not enough players on the roster. Willie will only call up someone if he plans on playing them though.
  19. Corrado is up in the press box for Stanton who is out.
  20. Willie said he was going to sit someone soon if the "antics" didn't stop. So that would be Burrows or Dorsett or Hansen maybe for bad penalties. Call up Gaunce and try Vey on the second line he seems to need top 6 minutes to be effective offensively and his D. is iffy.
  21. ok alright I will see what I can find, but to be sent down for a conditioning stint the player would have to be on the IR first.
  22. Avalanche where are you? If a player is on the injured reserve list of course a replacement can be called up, it could have happened as soon as Bo was placed on the injured reserve list. Sorry guys I don't look things up just from memory so I am always prepared to apologize if wrong.
  23. So sorry, I thought you meant he belongs in the AHL and not the NHL.
  24. Yes, but only if Willie plans on playing him.
