(proposal) LE + 2022 1st to Ottawa

yep this past summer really was the first time that bad contracts could not be easily or reasonably dumped but instead cost significant assets that same scenario may not reappear this summer senators are one team that may have to take on contracts to reach cap floor as their ltir contracts are expiring (or who knows, maybe they will graduate to being a real team and fill their cap floor obligations with real contract paid only to active players? i know sens fans can dream about this scenario) -
so you say jb/green are responsible to accurately forecast player injuries or are you just pointing out the unproductive asset issues but have no solutions i see loui as an ownership decision loungo has nothing to do with present management the rest are injury fall out issues so yeah i mostly blame the hockey gods

oh great another lost that we can read and post about nah, gonna give it i a miss this time very uncanuck and very unfan of me but i'm doing too well betting against this team it is no longer fun -
oh wait it looks like i was too optimistic and my suggestion that the author of this thread was exceedingly pessimistic might simply be wrong nucks are failing and flailing at the rate suggested in this thread i am surprised to have to acknowledge this only 1 week later

yes that clearly is the biggest problem he is underpaid he should be getting 11ish million per season then he'd play every game with his full toolbox of talent and the team would be undefeated

um the nhl appears to be following the MLS expansion model or were you not paying attention? MLS expansion teams regularly bolt out of the gate with impressive squads and i think the nfl (2002) and nba (2002) have not expanded in .. well .. quite a while so who knows what they might do if they are paid 1 billion or more by some expansion wannabee -

debated responding to this post because it could be so easy for others to misconstrue my intent what was done under hitler's reign and at his direction is abhorrent and nothing else he may have done can overcome these evil things hitler brought a socialist outlook to germany during his reign pre WW2 he expropriated land from land barons who were simply hoarding land and keeping it idle while many workers post WW1 were underemployed and struggling to get by particularly those with farming talents hitler redistributed some of this idle land to young farmers who made this land productive again he redistributed wealth and provided hope to some lower class workers ancestors of mine directly benefited from this program -

really??? what about that 20 to 25 million in expansion fees that each owner gets to pocket? think las vegas should get something for that money? like a player from every team at least ? and yeah the quality of players has gone up with that last expansion draft but the entry fees went up more dramatically i know you prefer they get nothing maybe the league can allow teams to opt out of their share of the expansion fee? aqua man would rather keep demko then receive 20+ million?? yeah right -
(Proposal) CBJ-VAN BUF-VAN

i think gaudette will be better then anderson within a year it would be silly to move gaudette he is a keeper in my view -
what does this have to do with the current cap issues in a year and half when demko is up we'll have a much clearer picture of our goalie situation too soon to make long term decisions before that information is in i see no reason to get over excited presently and if marky wants more then 6 he is not re-signed so we do not get to your 10 million would you pay marky 8 million? i would not but you must be willing because you put that number out there

another point why is everyone concerned about arizona getting better by this trade ? i doubt it is a franchise changing move, just a talented piece for them will arizona pass us in the standings? um no, they are already ahead of us will nucks likely get past the 1st round if they make the playoffs? we can always hope and dream, but this year is a success if they make the playoffs and the young talent gets exposed to playoff hockey i'd be more concerned if a team just ahead of us or just behind us in the standings made a biggish move yotes improving when they are above us in the standings does little to canucks chances of making the playoffs

NEWS: Taylor Hall and Blake Speers to ARI in exchange for a first-round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, third-round selection (conditional) in 2021, D Kevin Bahl and F Nick Merkley and Nate Schnarr — New Jersey Devils (@NJDevils) December 16, 2019 so to be clear and so we are all talking about the same thing hall and spears to arizona (2 assets) for bahl, merkley, schnarr, 1st round pick, and conditional 3rd rounder (that might become a 1st rounder) (5 assets) ***** i think this is a steep price for a rental but if hall resigns a decent contract it is pretty fair value hall is not the player coilers traded to devils with devils hall's points per game average increased and he won a league mvp he was sure to return more then larssson but that hall larrson deal was still a huge mistake by the oilers.. they did not get enough
-
pretty bleak outlook of our team\ i have much more confidence than you in the coilers and flames ability to fail suck it up man.. those alta teams are good at returning less then expected particularly that edmonton team and i still think san jose is a bit oldish and cannot sustain their current pace most teams have a bit of an uptick after canning a coach i think nucks can still bounce back they just need to get a solid stretch of games going they have played quite poorly recently but that can be corrected, they have youth and talent on their side

coastal.view replied to goalie13's topic in Canucks Talk
4 - 2 montreal gallagaher with the winner as with the weekend games i hope to be wrong if i could give my points earned on here from the weekend to the nucks i would again. upvote the author if you post in this thread -
so what you are saying is that if he plays another 4000 games he could lead the nuck franchise in points ? that is why you keep posting his incredible stats sheet ?
