Yeah dont know what people are bitching about i would like to see both on the same line together, Virtanen-Horvat-Kassian in preseaso next year.

The NHL is and has been chock full of players with attitude, Lindros, Clarkie, Nolan, Richard, Kesler, Seguin, and the list goes on and on and on.

Well i would like to see it as a trial. This line kind of reminds me of what could become our version of Anaheim's 2nd line. Kassian has had very limited time with Horvat but he seemed to play very well with him when he did.

Virtanen-Horvat-Kassian is what i want to see for a trial in the preseason, 2 playmakers with heavy down low cycle to set up Virtanen's shot.

The concern is a tad premature, Virtanen has all the ingredients to be a top 6 RW speed, shot, physicality, NHL ready body. Btw weren't you one of the guys who had doubt's about Horvat being NHL ready and should have been sent back to junior? Maybe everybody should wait for next years training camp and preseason to get a better read on Virtanen, i think he is going to surpise a few people.

Lol this thread is starting to sound like the Horvat thread last year after the Memorial cup and WJC. Whaa guy cant score,whaa whats wrong with him, whaa should have picked somebody else..friggin laughable.

Bonino faces the toughest matchups on the team, Hodgson is very weak in the d-zone. Bonino is also a great pk'er Hodgson is not or ever will be. We have Horvat, McCann and Cassels as the future centers and all of them posess a more complete game than Hodgson as well as being tougher and thrive in the dirty areas something that Hodgson is allergic to.

I wouldn't be so sad if we landed Austin Mattews in 2016, kid is a stud. 17 yrs old 6ft 197 was arguably the best player on the US next to Larson in the WJC. Bobby Mac was drooling over this kid.

Saskatchewan hillbilly, we used to kick the crap out of them for something to do when we were bored. Made sure they went back with only 3 teeth to fit in with the rest of their family.

Lol Nylander dominating the WJC, couldn't get his team into the medals. Most analysts were talking more about Forsling than Nylander. One thing that stood out for me about Nylander was every time he was bumped or hit he coughed up the puck and looked at the reff trying to do a sell job. This is a 19 yr old tourney and tourney and the 19 yr old guys were the best players watch what happens next year when Jake has matured.

It's a junior tounament, lots of kids look world class out there but lots of them don't look so good once they get into the NHL. Maybe you should wait 3-4 years before creating a manifesto like the one you just posted.

Carter has a world class shot from far out, Jake's shot looks similar.

This.. Virtanen turned the puck over at the blueline while playing a little high in the zone, he seems be hanging back a bit probably to cover for the D-men who like to pinch.

Demko almost looks like Schneids in his positioning and calmness in the net, can't wait for Rollie to get ahold of him if he is still with the Nucks. Great 2nd round pick even Alberta fans are jelly over him, Nucks are becoming a goaltender factory.

He was positionally good all game in all the zones, closed gaps turned over pucks played physical. Hockey is not only about scoring but playing a complete game. His play in the d-zone and neutral zone have impressed me for a young kid..3rd youngest on the team. He was put on the line with McDavid because he can play with pace and create space.
