  1. Man City have signed Negredo (from Sevilla) and Jovetic (from Fiorentina) in back-to-back days. Now their attack force includes Dzeko, Silva, Aguero, Jovetic and Negredo. Scary. Arsenal look to be losing the race for Higuain since Real Madrid want way more money than Higuain is worth (rejected 25m bid). Suarez still hopeful pending a rumoured 40m bid from Arsenal. PSG vs Monaco this year will just be amusing. The money they've spent so far is upsetting.
  2. It bugs me how some people were expecting Shea Weber-quality for his salary. He's leading our team in +/- and spent a huge chunk of time NOT on the PP (AV is a bit slow with some things), otherwise his goal tally would probably be even higher. He's performed admirably.
  3. I'm merely fantasizing. In regards to the unlikeliness of Klopp leaving in the near future, I also don't seem the board letting Wenger go. If anything, the board and Kroenke/Gazidis are more to blame than Wenger for their lack of ambition in the transfer market and overall strength of Arsenal. North London Derby coming up. I'm nervous.
  4. It's hard being a gooner. I'd like to see Jurgen Klopp in charge when Arsene leaves (eventually) since Pep is going to Bayern next year. Speaking of Bayern, interesting to see whether Arsenal will play another soft performance or properly bounce back. No Gervinho Arsene, please.
  5. Arsenal looked great yesterday, mostly due to the fact they were playing an off-form West Ham squad, however every player on the team had a good game, especially Wilshere (as usual), Ramsey, Podolski and Giroud. Still need another center half, box-to-box or defensive midfielder, and a striker. Don't know who Arsenal would look at for the first two, but signing Villa or Jovetic would be marvelous up front.
  6. Another loss for Arsenal. Looking truly hopeless as far as CL qualification goes. Badly need a marquee signing. Too bad Barcelona doesn't want to deal out David Villa. Walcott and Wilshere are the only consistent performers these days.
  7. A string of mediocre-poor results and this whole Walcott situation is seriously worrying and Wenger needs a serious kick up the backside or Arsenal is heading into Liverpool territory (no offense, scousers).
  8. I've come to terms with Arsenal not qualifying for the Champion's League next year...unless they pull a Chelsea. Highly unlikely. I'm sure we'll get showed up by Bayren Munich a month from now.
  9. Still fantastic value for the player he is with the new contract. I'm tempted to grab myself a Burr jersey now...after I get my Schneider one.
  10. Hell of a shot right there. Wow. Re: 2nd yellow Can't bring myself to watch the footage again, I'm pretty pissed with the game, I'll take your word for it.
  11. Arsenal played awful today, not a fan of the second yellow given, and now Liverpool can leapfrog us into 5th. Ugh.
  12. What a GREAT day to be a gooner. Chelsea loses, Spurs drop 2 points and we get a nice win and van Persie breaks Henry's record. Nicely settled in 4th.
