Kyle Beach is a hero for coming forward. I hope this whole thing makes some real positive change in the NHL, in pro sports, and in general. Paul Vincent is also a hero for sticking to his guns and reporting it to upper management even though it cost him cup rings and salary etc etc. Rick Westhead for his dogged determination to pursue this story and not give up despite being ripped to shreds on twitter and all the roadblocks he faced. Brent Sopel, Nick Boynton for speaking up and shedding light on this situation despite not even knowing Kyle Beach and having nothing to gain from it. It's a step in the right direction. Good on these people.

Could be anywhere from a 3rd line player to a legit 1st liner to a complete bust. some unknown chance of signing a big UFA This could end up as trading Hughes and Myers for Graves and a 1st. Would that acceptable return to you?

The Ryzen 5000 series is super affordable for the power you're getting, but this means you could grab a 3000 series for super cheap. You shouldn't go anywhere near an Intel processor right now. Also, with the Radeon 6000 series coming that will work with Ryzen 5000 series to allow the CPU to use video memory will boost your performance even more. Do a little research, and get a place like Memory Express to build it for you (you pick the parts). Do yourself a favour and don't buy a pre-built. You'll overpay for lower quality parts, every time. You can save money on your motherboard if you don't need a network adapter that can support higher than gigabit internet (which I assume most people don't even have), etc etc etc

Why do so many people conveniently forget that all these bad contracts that are so-called handcuffing the team right now were signed when this team was absolutely atrocious? When your team is really bad, you pay more to outbid other teams during UFA, it's really quite simple. If you don't improve your team and insulate your young up-and-coming stars, you end up like the Oilers getting top 3 picks year after year after year and still being absolutely garbage. Players like Sutter and Beagle do a lot more on and off the ice and in the locker room than people seem to think. Those hard defensive zone draws and PK minutes don't play themselves, and they certainly don't get played by teenagers who weigh 170 lbs. I'm not sitting here saying every single one of Benning's moves are homeruns but looking at the overall picture he's done a good job, for sure. The other NHL GMs seem to agree.
