Avto's last regular season game is listed as Feb 27, and playoffs make it likely @ mid March. I don't think Avto looks to do much damage in the playoffs. Their number one goalie Kovar seems to have lost an edge since coming back from an injury last year. As well, Coach Peters is still adjusting to the new league. I don't think Avto's addressed their forward situation this year either. Dawes is gone and Datsyuk is trying his best as captain, at 42 years of age. Avto still seems to soft up front. Comparatively, Salavat has a relentless forecheck and helped them edge out a 1-0 win over Tryamkins squad yesterday. Tryamkin doesn't look like he's having as much fun, Avto is on a 6 game losing streak. I did like his one shift yesterday he nailed 2 Salavat players on the same shift. Struggling on the PP, 0-5 yesterday, I think Tryamkin is worth a shot at net front prescence, Nobody could move him. Plus I would activate him more l, give him the green light to carry it into the offensive zone more, rather than just dumping it in. He dumps it in out of habit and many times has open ice in front of him. He's only on a one year contract, I hope Diamond put in a buyout clause. Maybe a reporter could ask him.

I agree. Jake is constantly being raked over his game to game performance whilst the media doesn't press LE at all. That is, about his loss of any or all of his scoring touch. Is this shortfall injury related? Does he not like it here? Is he in disagreement with his deployment? Did he lose all his confidence when he got here? Is he just pulling a Messier and going through the motions? Has he lost his love for the game? Problems off the ice? Or is it mental fragility? I'd like to here his side of the 6 million dollar story.

Excellent young, big, Dman. Worth the price. He was fun watching in the playoffs, especially the PP. -

I think the 3rd line needs some recognition for their yeoman's efforts so I'm going to vote Beagz

Tryamkin with 2 assists today. First was a rebound put in off a hard Tryamkin slap shot from the left point, second goal was a tip off a strong snap shot by Tryamkin from the blue line and deflected in. Coach Peter's has Tryamkin on the 2nd pp unit.

Coaches come and coaches go. I think our coaching staff is still growing to the level of our talent.

I think we're going to feel the gap he leaves in the dressing room. His role as a FO coach for sure but I think he had a steadying influence on our centers.

I feel like somebody's been reading my mail. I've been proposing Manny for bench duty for a couple seasons now. I didn't think TO would pull the trigger on us. I think Manny's gonna kill it. He's going to be a players coach. He seems above par on competitiveness and ability to motivate players. That shee is contagious. It'll take a few seasons but watch out.

Official KHL announcement about the postponement of six regular season games. Six regular season games involving Barys, which were scheduled to take place between Sep. 18 and Oct. 1, are postponed until a later date. The games affected are Barys vs Dinamo Riga (Sep. 18) and the next five road games at Severstal (Sep. 20), Metallurg (Sep. 22), Kunlun Red Star (Sep. 27), Vityaz (Sep. 29) and HC Sochi (Oct. 1). Following preliminary positive tests for coronavirus involving 12 members of the playing and coaching staff, the team must undergo two weeks in quarantine. The dates and times of the rearranged games will be confirmed by the KHL later, once a new schedule can be agreed with the clubs involved.
