  1. He's more of a scorer. But definitely a gift from good fortune for sure. I agree with Agent that we need to find a solid D partner for him. Huggy was is so important for our PP!
  2. Tired of being called riot city when obviously we really suck at riots. US is way ahead.
  3. God were due for a defenseman to break out. Hutton was forever ago.
  4. I think a top 4 D is hard to trade for and expensive to trade for. I'm hoping Rathbaby will help and/or Woo. Or we get lucky with another Miller type trade.
  5. Dillon still looks like the cheaper alternative. No Boeser or Virt involved. We might need them to trade for a goalie in 2 years.
  6. Only thing is the cost I guess.
  7. Come on JB send us a some good news!
  8. Tryamkin is just what the doctor ordered for the playoffs. Would be awesome for JB to sign him so I can watch the meltdown on here.
  9. He didn't have an SPC because he was in another league.
  10. I dont think he's a free agent till our rights end with him in 3 years.
  11. No. He only had to be named on the roster by Dec. 1, same as last time.
  12. Hopefully JB can sign Tryamkin for the playoffs.
  13. Speaking of quarantine how about asking for hotel staff to be quarantined as well? Food service and prep. Can't help it. Getting excited for the games! Quarantine FIN!!
  14. I think everyone's played pick up basketball without refs. All elbows and knees. Or tackle football without refs where anything goes. Sports can get harsh everywhere.
  15. Typically, when they put the whistles away, it's guys like Tryamkin that are going to thrive in close, battling in the crease.
  16. Lately it's the bigger teams that are winning cups.
  17. Tanev doesn't score either. Scoring is a moot comparison between these two. Although I would love to see Tryamkin try a couple games in the crease on PP2 as an experiment.
  18. Why the drama of 3 M. There was never this much criticism of Hutton raking in 2.8 over his last 3 seasons when he was mere shadow of his first season. 3 years draggin his ass getting paid top dollar? I think 3 million is fair over 2 or 3 seasons for Try. He'll prove himself as a defense first D man. No lofty point totals because he isn't no Hughes in the O zone. But will have Hughes back when the play swings back to our end. After watching him play these past few seasons he can and is good at neutralizing threats. And Huggy will appreciate that.
  19. In a tough playoff round I think Tryamkin will pay bigger dividends due to his physicality, he's a lot stronger than Tanev in the crease. A game 7 against a big heavy team. Tryamkin will show his worth.
  20. I'm pretty sure Tryamkin knows he has to prove himself again, whole new team, new coach, but he will square up fine on the bottom pairing to start. At least this time he won't be benched behind a ineffectual Philip Larsen. Which no one, especially Tryamkin could understand. His job will be to clear the crease and I think he knows that.
  21. Griffin Rhienhart had barely 30 NHL games and is a perennial AHL player. Gudbranson has half the speed and half the defensive coverage of Tryamkin. Hutton got 2.8 M out of the gate. I think Tryamkin did enough in his 79 games here to be worth at least that. I think 3 x 3 would be fair because the upside is better than anything we have on the farm.
