  1. But some protection for him would be good. Dillon's a good scrapper.
  2. Be cheaper to go after Dillon Surry boy UFA 3M 3 years
  3. Well my little birdie told me Tryamkin wants to sign here.
  4. I was under the impression that the Dec cutoff was that Tryamkin had to be added to the roster. Not necessarily signed to a contract. Since his KHL contract was until April 30. And he would be eligible after the April date, same as his last start for us.
  5. When he does sign, neither party are not sure if it includes this season or not. So I think everything is in a holding pattern. If he helps us finish this years playoffs then that's a different situation
  6. this cheaper stronger plus Dillon is from Surrey, might want to sign close to home 3.5 M? 4 years
  7. i farted in a zoom meeting Thu. nobody knew who. (I thought i had my mic off btw) ps going to look for people in need
  8. 3 × 3 bridge deal would be good. Don't want to risk losing him after one year. (Actually 2 year deal if we can get a playoff this summer. One short season ) 3 million for a playoff season is more than fair. At 3 he's better paid than Hutton by a bit. Plus he can start training with the team right away. Unless everything is cancelled, or JB might be figuring this season is done.
  9. Would one year put him into free agency?
  10. Be worth a cup of coffee to see what he can do. Actually we've got a few young guys in the same position. They need to fight it out to see who wants it more. Competition is a good thing.
  11. We need Roussel's grit than another finesse skilled winger.
  12. We'll just have to cut our equalization payments to the weaker teams. Hold on to our cash, team wise.
  13. I'm going to email. Who's with me!
  14. I actually meant our skilled forwards who could use more grit on every pair. Especially when their getting chippy with EP or Huggy, and getting away with it.
  15. That's not the gung ho, go get em attitude we're looking for around here
  16. Yes, the addition of Tryamkin is not the saviour Dman like a Peitrangelo would be, but he adds to our bottom pairing making us tougher in our zone. One thing is the domino effect of another strong pairing Green can throw over the boards. In effect our D corps will be better by committee. I'd be happy with adding a tough middlin' UFA dman like Dillon. Cheaper, tough, another support out there for our finesse skill guys.
  17. Can anyone lip read what Churla said to VanHellamond?
  18. Wow what a cool story. With us at risk of losing Thatch I'm definitely glad to hear of Silovs doing well.
  19. So we may use this type of appraisal if that's the market value, to offer a prospect or draft pick to protect him.
  20. We are in danger of losing our great goalie prospect Thatcher Demko to Seattle in the expansion draft. So in terms of trades, I'm thinking a 1st and a high prospect. Goalie or D prospect.
  21. All the best. Condolences to the family. Farewell to The Big Zack Daddy. We lost a huge Canuck fan. A Zack fan.
  22. I'm all for the big home run signings like a Risto or Peiterangelo but I think LE contract needs to get cleared. And as long as this home run signing doesn't risk us resigning all our young stars. Including Mark and Toff. Who do they want for Risto? and what is the size and term for a Pietoangelo look like? Are we at risk of losing a young gun like Brock or Jake? Which is something I couldn't believe. JB would need to be rock solid certain to move either of those two.
  23. Tanev is great. But hes in tough to finish a season, much less adding a long war in the postseason. If were going to trade a big name I'm thinking Demko plus a forward (Lievo/Sutter)and a D prospect (Bris/Chat?) Demko we may lose for nothing to Seattle.
