  1. Tryamkin Myers Hughes Edler Raff and add tough UFA (Dillon) 7th dman Rath/OJ
  2. The one factor that is underestimated is the value of Tryamkin's size and strength in front of the net. And his ability to control the crease, then clear the crease. We don't have enough of that type of strength and force.
  3. Excited to see this kid when he comes to camp. Be a great bottom 6 addition to start. Maybe move up from there. 2 years possibly?
  4. Pieteranglo would be a home run! But I'm sure they'd be a stiff competition to sign him. *If only we could give him LEs contract*
  5. Not trying to turn it into a Tanev bashing but just being realistic. Our D needs to be more physical. Tire fires anyone? Like its been said defense wins championships, and controlling our own zone is how to start this transition. Tampa is a great example of defensive positioning to have. I think Tryamkin is a step in the right direction.
  6. Tanev, not sure about his contract he'll be looking for. His age is getting up there, his cost is getting up there. He generally misses a lot of games. Not sure if our value would be better getting a UFA like Dillon and Tryamkin for the same cost.
  7. I think I caught almost 30 games? Some only 1 or 2 periods because of wonky internet connection. But what fun watching him play. He's matured. Even his photos look more intense. He is definitely coming in to make a mark.
  8. So no Tryamkin jersey for you?
  9. He's free and clear of Atvo as of the 31st. What's to argue about a free asset. 3rd rounder is found money.
  10. I think pay amount is correct. I like Chatfield.
  11. I'm hoping he jumps in quickly ala Hutton in his first year. Hoping.
  12. I'd like Stech as the 7. I think Rathbone moves ahead because of offense.
  13. He'll start bottom pairing to prove himself, and he will move up especially after injuries to other D men. He's durable at that size. Watch whoever's paired with him will get a boost in plus minus. And he'll take heavy PK minutes before long. He's been a lock at PK 1 in the K. People are going to be watching out for Nik, he is very intimidating, when he hits he gets body mass behind it. And for a good skater he can line up very good hits (more so here in the NHL than in the KHL). And he'll draw a lot of attention away from EP and and Huggy. He just balances us out more. One or two big hits and he'll be a fan favorite. Opposing forwads are going to hate this guy. Ask Jamie Benn and also the Ducks forwards. And Richardson who he just leaned on and broke in half.
  14. Can't wait to see this kid. I'm thinking another quick study like Hutton was, or Stecher and how he came in. Were due for some youth stepping up from our D ranks. And a possible PP2 addition.
  15. Hahahaha. That reminds me, his English is going to be a lot better this time round. Another plus.
  16. I wouldn't compare forwards and D. Especially from the KHL. They just switched to smaller ice but the D used to have a football field to cover. The only players of value in the K are a few big D men. Most of their best forwards are NHL discards. Or KHL lifers. KHL is better on the body, Not as violent as the NHL.
  17. You obviously haven't been keeping up or watching his development this past while. Your in for a nice surprise when you see where his game has come. The thing that intrigues me is how he will deal with the 'after the whistle' stuff. He was caught off guard last time but I think he's going to be loaded for bear this time. He hits hard, still, which is a big dinner bell for the cheap shot artists. He took the conditioning notes to heart when he left. He could use some boxing lessons.
  18. I would expect around 3 to 3.5 That would put him around Hutton 2.8 or Zadarov 3.2. I would say 2 years at 3.3 bridge I project him around Tanev dollars down the road. This going off a strong 79 game showing. And KHL seasoning.
  19. At least Hutton money, so 3M to start at 2 year show me contract
  20. Tryamkins signing is secondary news to whether or not we finish this season. But we may well know by the 31st.
  21. So Darren Dregs is the ice time police now? Who gave him the little hitler badge? I'm sure a few hockey players are grabbing time somewhere.
  22. Oh I can just see it. A nurse in her gear dropping the puck. A doctor the next game.
