For forwards I can see the need for lots of ice time. But even there older forwards, or slower ones, rotation would help in the back to backs and at the end of long road trips. The travel and schedule is condicive toa lot of injuries.
Defense especially carries a brunt of the load, and we're not a big D that can take a lot of pounding like Dirk/Babych types could.
Man if he's sees that his home team is okay without him..they are 10-0, maybe he will move sooner. He could finish the season (winning a championship would help).
Here's to hoping Lol
it would probably cost him a I'd guess a million dollars to buy out of his contract which he would have to do himself to leave them.
(a guess based on the list of top 30 KHL salaries someone leaked)
He wasn't that bad defensively hovered around 0 in his plus minus over 600 NHL games
The similarity I saw was his speed and size reminded me of Ballard BUT BETTER! Oots looks good.
we need to see a lot more of Goldy in the next few games, coaches need 20-30 minutes to analyze his game his defense etc...if he scores that would be even better
I guess I am still hanging on to that moment the pick was announced and I sat there literally dumbfounded, gaping at my tv screen choked. Talk about feeling disillusioned then trying to be hopeful at first, now just been meh every year so far. but w.e.
not hating on OJ just not ever seeing his game yet, ever.
...still hopeful..
I saw Gaunce pass up a hit in the corner 2 games ago, he skated right past the guy behind the goalie. I also saw Archie nail Muzzin... Muzzin is a huge guy and Archie laid him out flat.
players I would have preferred over OJ used to be just MT and Sergie
now its also MT, Sergie, Keller, Nylander, McAvoy, Borgstrom
sorry it's IMHO or just need more patience?
