I like the strength on the puck and the use of the straight arm in keeping a defender off of him. And I like his board battles and his puck possession skills. I think Kakko is just going to get stronger too. However his skating looks a little bit choppy and could use a little bit of work which will only help in his development.
This is going to be another great draft for us as I feel we will be getting a good top 10 pick. Maybe even top 5.
From what I heard from other posters on here, Tryamkin has to pay for his termination of his contract himself first (75% of his contract I believe) and Canucks can only negotiate after he buys himself out. I'm purely speculating here but I think he'd have to pay about 1 million per season. (the KHL doesn't pay like here) I'm hoping he finishes this season there and buys out his next season then can be here for next years camp.
Doubt it because they did make him captain,
hmmm...I'm wondering if they might be trying to extend his contract there maybe, using captaincy as leverage? just hypostulating
Solid guy, solid depth defensemen. He is going to fall victim to the numbers game, he'll more than likely be waived and clear.
My favorite of him, is his hitting when's he's on the 4th line. Bulldog. I kinda hope he gets picked up and finds full time work somewhere.
I'm hoping Lemaire starts using him more on the PP, he looks dangerous when he gets that puck and loves pushing it into the slot. Surprised not to see him in 3-3 OT.
They have bigger forwards , not necessarily mean but I sure love beating them.
NB: I shouldn't have restricted it to our division but big teams in general.
With a great chance in the slot in the early 2nd period Wow another one off the post at the end of the 2nd he sure isn't afraid of the dirty areas.
And takes a 2 minute coincidental roughing minor he plays like Ronning, all out and fast. Good he's playing with Versteeg Talbot and Deharnais to learn from.
