That goes further in showing that veterans can lose their touch around the net and not regain it. Barry Pederson did take a step down very early in his career but remained solid in Vancouver with seasons of 76,76, and 71 points before dipping to 41 and going downhill from there. People used to ask when Pederson would get his offence going again because he had been a prolific point producer in the past. It was only a matter of when..... Tanti really did decline. He went from averaging 40 to 28 to 24 to done. Sounds familiar? Greg Adams did get 19 but that is a decline from his peak....I mentioned Courtnall did all right past 32 but overall his post 32 production was spotty. Mogilny did do ok getting 43 goals, still a real decrease from his peak. You make some valid points and I hear what you saying, Arnold. The overall point trying to be made is that as players get along in their career they reach a point where they lose the ability to score goals. We now have examples of players drying up even younger.
