  1. Because not passing it back to the D means a forward having to take it to the net...not in the nucks system.
  2. Half assed poke checks and friendly little bumps all over the ice. Pathetic. Talk about easy to play against.
  3. Had the puck, cant clear and they score. They must practise that to be so good at it.
  4. I was an senior investment manager for a private equity fund. Nice try. What you are describing is basically doing damage to the long term prospects of the company to fool your superior into thinking things are better than they are. Short term thinking at its best. I agree that might be what this is about but I still don't agree with it...and if you worked for me and I caught you pulling that $&!# I would kick your ass down the road.
  5. I do not share your confidence in this management group and I have seen some very well paid people royally suck at their job. Clark is considered by almost all analysts as one of the best goalie coaches in the league. Why would anyone let him go to save peanuts in the scheme if things?
  6. Clark created marky so i have to disagree about him being a perk. Players do notice. Pretty sure demko, holtby and diPietro will notice if Clark is gone.
  7. I get the financial argument but if you won't pay a crucial piece like Clark, don't tell fans you are serious about contending and h What message does it send to the players?
  8. Schidt was hesitating because his teammates were all standing in front of the net. He had nowhere to put the puck.
  9. Looks like it. They are at least playing with fire in letting him wait this long. I imagine calgary is licking their lips at the thought of getting him back with Marky.
  10. Demko tries to clear the puck and brock brings it back in. Great strategy.
  11. I actually read all that and was extremely unimpressed with your counter points. You shouldn't have wasted your time. Perhaps read the article about Clark before being g a smart ass a out national unemployment. The number of qualified and successful management t that have left or are left hanging should be a concern for anyone famiar with corporate governance. You are just a cheerleader and that's okay. I mean that with love.
  12. -Malhotra let go to keep brown. -Passed on Burrows. -Linden shown the door. -Head of amateur scouting sent packing. -Green left hanging as lame duck coach. -Tanev and Marky left hanging while JB ran out of time pursuing other options. -clark, arguably the best goalie coach in the league left hanging. The body of evidence against JB's effectiveness as a gm is mounting.
  13. Jb wouldn't be the first rookie gm to want to surround himself with yes men. Having successful mgmt. Disagree or question your decisions can be unnerving. Pretty obvious he couldn't reach agreement with linden either. Starting to be a long list of competent senior personnel moving on. To me that is a huge red flag and concerns me as much, if not more than player management. If it is aquaman then this franchise is screwed.
  14. While I have concerns about JB taking the next steps with player signings,my more immediate concern is his (mis)management of the staff. After collecting the most talented and promising group of young players this team has ever seen, he let's our senior amateur scout walk. He let Malhotra walk to Toronto and extended Brown who only was effective when the Sedins ran the PP. Could have had Burrows as well but stayed with Brown. Has left Green a lame duck coach. Has not re-signed Clark, arguably the best goalie coach in the nhl. I am starting to wonder if perhaps he is insecure to the point of being unable to have top talent around him if they don't agree with his every move.
