That depends. Benning made some big moves this summer to take this team to the next level. If that isn't happening, he may feel pressured to make a change coaching to save his own neck.
I agree our breakouts are weak. I don't know what our coaches are coaching so hard to know it it is execution or system. Watching Dallas and Chicago what really stands out is th speed of player and puck movement in all zones and the speed of their attacks. We seem to be always trying to slow things down and our transitions are tentative often leaving us with one player attacking without support.
We we seem to be chasing the puck on all zones compared to the teams I mentioned. Is it our players that are slow or the style of play the coaching staff have them playing? If the latter, we would benefit from a coaching change.
We are only sniffing at a playoff spot because of our goaltending and a pp that has succeeded mainly against weak pk teams.
