I guess I'm sitting this one out. The only Highlight in NHL 18 was 3on3, the rest was the same bull$&!# as every year.
HUT got a overload of different cards. So many players got a 99OA-card.. come on EA.

In 1994 I saw a highlight-Video from SCF against the Rangers in german TV. Since then, I love this black jersey.. this as a 3rd Jersey would be awesome

I don't understand why so many People here are "frustrated" about Guddy. It's official that he played with a injury the most time of the last season.. calm down guys!
It's always tough for a Player to Play in a new City, with new teammates and a Coach who gives Megna and Chaput NHL time.

If this is in fact the new Jake Virtanen he is still just a 4th liner at best on what is likely to be a bottom feeding team. He's in his draft +4 and he is playing okay in preseason, he's not dominating, he's not lighting it up, he is pretty much right where I thought he would be in terms of development.
People calling posters out because the thread is quiet when he plays well? He's a 6th overall pick he is expected to play well...in preseason...in his draft +4....
Is Jake in his draft +4 year?
Rush him.. we've the best experience to rush player and haven't enough patience on their progression.. Cam Neely is the best example. No more words needed.

During the scrimmmage he was fast and skating hard. Yes, it was just a scrimmage but he was throwing his weight around and letting everyone in the arena know that he's back in Vancouver. He put the body on a couple of guys he lined up on the forecheck, but his most noticeable hit was on Juolevi. It was a hard hit with a little extra something to put Juolevi onto the ice. Chirping ensued. This is the Jake Virtanen that fans wanted.

You need to show up in training and especially in scrimmages. Everything starts there..

As good as playing in the AHL next year for Dahlen would be, I think the right move would be to send him back with Pettersson to the SHL, then AHL the next year and then NHL the following year. It means Dahlen will be about 21 and Pettersson about 20 when he hits the NHL.
I guess, Benning want they play together next season in Sweden and 2018/19 in the AHL together, if they aren't ready for the big League.
Maybe both get bigger through next season and could be ready for 2018/19, if not let them play in the AHL.
-
Maybe a little bit too early, but I'm very excited to see Pettersson and Dahlen together in a Canucks jersey..

I guess we will (if available) pick one of Vilardi, Glass and Liljegren..BUT I think we will draft Liljegren at 5.
Vilardi goes on 3rd and Glass on 4th..

Awesome I'm not the only italian here and not the only Juventino

Why exactly does Bo have more to prove than anybody else from that draft class?

Sheesh. Let the kid play, and stop comparing him to Raffi. Jake's going to be Jake.
I don't like to compare players with other players, too.. but this was dirty, he doesn't need this.
-
Everybody is compare a player with an other one. But what is, if Jake turn in to a player type that have doesn't exist before? Tomas Holmstrom do this with his playing style. Maybe Jake will be a mix of some players and create through this a new player type.

imo. he's earning himself a roster spot with the way he's been playing. here's hoping he can keep it up and earn the fourth line center position. i think he would be very good in that role. for Desjardins to try Granlund on the wing says something to me. it says that Gaunce has been playing well and has impressed. it's also saying that because Gaunce has impressed. they're willing to try Granlund on the wing to see how he can do.
And the better one will play Center and the other one on the wing.
I like Gaunce and he's playing a real good pre-season. I would love to see him this season the most of time in a canucks Jersey
-
He looks (in the plays I have seen) a lot more comfortable as Larsen yesterday.
I guess this gonna be a real good battle about the last spot in the D

I would like to see our kid-line, too. These Boys create some chemistry last season, so why take someone of them out of this line?

After winning my 3rd straight Cup with the Canucks, I think I could say I've built a Dynasty
My Line-Up for the season 2019-20.
Notable Trades/Signings
Lucic (31, who scored only 12G for 30P as 2nd-Liner) to BUF for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the 2020 Draft.
Bonino for the rights to Kucherov
Bjugstad for 2nd and 3rd 2020 and Prospect Villa to NSH
Sign Gudbranson to a $4.2/4y deal, Kucherov $5/4y
-
Yeah, but it's not your choice. The player has to be good enough to justify a jersey retirement AND they have to play for your team for their entire career, and then they'll have it retired automatically. Probably something that could use fixing haha.
Meeh.. I want to retire #10, #11, #16 and #19. Thank you!
-
Is it possible to retire numbers?
-
Finally got the game. My god, is it ever tough to make trades in this.
It's more than tough. Sometimes you can set a "huge deal"..
Off-season 2018/2019, Lindholm doesn't resign in Anaheim, I trade for his rights (Fox, 2nd + 3rd'19) and want to sign him to a 4y contract for $4.2/y, but he goes to the Arbitration. I got a deal with him for one-year contract $4.1/y.

I would like to purchase a 2in1 Tablet from Windows.. does anybody knows whether it is possible to play EHM on a Windows tablet?
