    Re watched Sat nights game. I'm just really impressed with his vision and soft hands. He never got the ice time in Van last season, so I was never really able to see what he's capable of doing. Quite frankly, I'm excited to watch this guy develop. He's got the tools to be the 'full package' and he's a Canucks prospect. Shocker. As others have mentioned, his defensive game needs work. I'm also think he's confused about the system. I see him talking to his d-men quite a bit when he goes back for break outs, he looks confused and fumbles about positioning. All those things will change with time. In Van, he won't have the luxury of playing questionable defense. His teammates and AV will ride him like a donkey. I also like his off-ice demeanor. He spent most of his summer trekking North American to train - that says a lot about young kids. But I love that he opened a twitter account. I know, it's twitter. But there are a lot of professional athletes who won't touch social media cause it opens up a portal for constant abuse. Not only does he interact w/ fans, but he's 'P.C.'. He's 21 yrs old and he gets it. Booth and many other NHLers are way older than him and get themselves into 'twitter trouble' cause they're basically stupid (and/or unaware of social cues). Either way, I def respect that he's brighter than the avg joe and 'aware' both on twitter and in interviews.

      Ya, he re-signed for 12/13, but not down w/ Wolves. There was that waiver exemption thing this yr, not a risk sending him down? I think anyways? It's a strange situation
