to people ripping this trade:
at least we are moving somewhere instead of maintaining the status quo which has really gotten us nowhere since the 2011 run. That team was lost long ago when Gillis chose or was forced to let go of too many guys that were an integral part of that teams success.
The next inevitable step is to trade kesler, that trade could potentially define the next 7-10 seasons for us if done correctly.
Sad to see guys like lu and kes (and maybe more) go but it has to happen.
