You’re not wrong…of course there is. But, there is doing that efficiently, or prolonging it and f’n it up. The later has happen the last 7-8 years, but there is now the ability to do it right and I think that’s the plan. All I’m saying is why f it up again, lose star players and prolong it another 8-10, when it can be done in a much shorter time if that makes sense.

Never said the current roster was good, but you don’t need to keep dragging things out EXTRA years to the point of your star players leaving. There is an efficient re-tool or re-build and then there is f’n around and dragging things out, which will prolong how long this takes, which was my point! Some of you are already b******* that it’s been 8 years. So, this can be done efficiently in 2-3 or loose our star players and it will be another 8-10 and you and your other pals on here will really be losing your s***!! Do you understand how good Petey and Hughes are and how detrimental losing them would be?! At some point you need to build on what you have and move forward…not keep getting rid of good / great players, only to have to replace them again & again! Your Canuck / hockey knowledge is hot garbage!! Again, ignorance and assumption as facts!

Again, point being it can go either way and no one has a crystal ball!! And, yes people have stated it as fact on both sides. Also fact, is what deb said about taking care of health fitness…that’s true in all sports / all aspects of life. You do not know his current fitness, or his future fitness. Even if it’s not excellent now, doesn’t mean it can’t change. Hell, Tocchet address fitness, so there’s a good change that will change across the team regardless.

That’s what some don’t understand…..keep f’n around for an extra 2-3 years and Petey, Hughes, Demko etc are going to want the f out of dodge…if that happens add another 5-10 years, which people have already b****** about the last 8 ish.

Well said!! For some to look at those things, plus a few other things and think it’s all bad is mind blowing! How about some of the new coaches, the focus on developing players & the Sedin’s involvement in that. There is good if people stop having tunnel vision.
