  1. Minnesota assigns G Mackenzie Blackwood. No waivers required Minnesota recalls G Tristan Jarry @Nail
  2. I have been of the mindset, from the beginning of the year. That we would be in tough to make play off's. I have accepted the Miller trade as good value. It is. But it was not a trade I would have made. Having seen Miller play? It still strikes me as good value. But still strikes me as a trade I would not have made. Here we are, even with Miller, stressed to make play off's. I was having great fun watching Petey & Boes, was excited to see Hughes. Am even more so now! There was no need to advance the rebuild at the expense of picks. It seems we need both Petey and Gaudette to put on 10 lbs muscle, a year experience. To be better down centre ice before we will be a power. That's coming IMO. Just a matter of time. I believe we would have needed to draft one more high talent level pivot early in the draft? Before we should have start expending 1sts on wins now. I am supportive of JB anyway. I don't proclaim to know all. And the team, in spite of me not liking every move, is heading in the right direction. Too much good young talent, and more coming! I also am supportive of having signed Benn, Myers, Fantenburg, Ferlund, Roussel & Beagle last year. We are better defensively, fitter, stronger and bigger. Have some extra talent in Myers. They did not cost assets.
  3. Edmonton roster move > Derrick Pouliot on waivers for purpose of assignment. Edmonton RECALLS Rasmus Dahlin from IR to active roster. Notes only below, hoping to back date. I was just hoping you could confirm if he was on waivers or not. But process the transaction back to the date I posted it;

  5. Yeah he was! Called him low maintenance, high reward! The lifeblood of the team.
  6. Whoops! Look at me claiming credit for someone else's prospect! (Wrong pool, have him elsewhere, he's on @JimLahey's team) Maybe we can talk trade! Still; Eight is pretty good? I dbl checked this time...
  7. But congratulations Brayden! Just signed his first ELC contract with the Ducks. Has a nice fat signing bonus of just under $100K to spend over Christmas, if not in Ostrava!
  8. Meh, throw away the key! You will keep shifting him to the minors every time he plays anyway!
  9. Florida also creeping up the standings. Maybe we cant expect Tristan Jarry to score 3 shutouts and a win in his next 4 games? As he did the last 4... But its nice to see. We are still firmly a team rebuilding. And rebuilding nicely as last post indicates. Happy with the year. At its outset we said we hoped to be 16th to 20. Would be thrilled if we scored a last play off spot!
  10. Florida should have high end representation & big overall numbers; a massive 9 players at the WJC's this year! Congratulations goes to the following players; Ivan Morozov, expected top line Russian pivot Grigori Denisenko, last years top scorer Alexander Romanov, last years top D man! David Gustafsson, Sweden 3rd line top match up pivot! Tobias Bjornfot, maybe not the top fantasy D man, but Sweden's best overall rearguard? Callen Addison, Canada's 7th D but a scoring threat! Ty Smith, Canada's likely D minutes leader & will get PP time! Trevor Zegras could compete with Denisenko for tourney points? Jacob Lauko, Czech top line pivot
  11. Rebuilding teams, John Gibson available for play off warriors. Serious inquiries only please!
  12. Bit bummed out Brayden Tracey did not get a call; only Vasili Podkolzin to rep us in the WJC's this year! Hopefully he is one of the tourneys best forwards, good luck!
  13. Congratulations to Edmonton's 5 WJC reps! 4 of whom should have top line / pair billing, Foote 2knd line? Grigori Denisenko Alexander Romanov Ivan Morozov Alex Turcotte Nolan Foote We think they will have a shot at 19, better luck next year; prospects Albert Johansson, Matthew Robertson, Yegor Spiridinov & Ilya Nilolayev. All played last years U18 Ivan Hlinka for their countries. The two Russians scored very well with 4 & 6 points in 7 games.
  14. Edmonton also recalls D Rasmus Dahlin from IR. @Mike Vanderhoek @canuck2xtreme with thanks.
  15. Does Pouliot Require waivers to be sent down? (Less than 30 days ten games) @canuck2xtreme @Mike Vanderhoek Assign Derrick Pouliot. If requires waivers so be it. If not, just assignment please.
  16. Hey Jazzy! It was Patrick Kane who had a hatty yesterday, not Calvin. And Chi are one team up from the wooden spoon in the West. Playoff's?
  17. Boston super excited to watch the WJC's. Congratulations to our 5 reps. We have Team Sweden's top two tenders! Hugo Alnefelt & 6'6'' giant Eric Portillo. Our commiseration for having traded Leon Draisaitl = Canadian anchor D man Bowen Byram! Last years 3rd round pick may be the Czech top pivot Jacob Lauko? Drafted in the 2knd round, IRL the 1st round Ryan Johnson may got a shot at some minutes? He is a great skater with untapped skills, the 7th D man on the USA roster if I understand correctly. Lots of past WJC talent prospect talent in Boston above and below our 2019/20 crew on our depth chart. We are waiting for Juuso Valimaki injured, and Henrik Borgstrom to make their way onto NHL rosters. Same with 1st round pick Isaac Lundestrom & 1st round calibre asset D Martin Ferhervary who had 3 tournry trips. All who have NHL games under their belt. Then we have more previous reps; 2knd rounders Yegor Korshkov RW (31st overall 2016), Chad Krys D, & Gold medal winning goalie Tyler Parsons. Plus 4 more previous WJC players now playing high level pro in Jakub Galvas, 2 trips and just too old for this years Czech team, Swede Rickard Hugg, Russian Anatoli Golyshev, & Finn Eetu Tuulola, currently an AHL rookie. Plus 2kind overall drafted head case Nolan Patrick. All picks, prospects available for killer play off talent! A mention of Winnipeg 2knd rounder this year, 6'2'' speedster PMD Simon Lundmark.
  18. Great work, thanks for the invite. To @Baer. as well, someone must have come up with my name as an idea. We are; Pavel Dorofeyev Ivan Morozov Grigori Denisenko Alex Romanov Jacob Bernard Docker Team Swiss Cheese G No thanks @Art Vandelay who picked Daniil Zhuravlyov He was my ancient Chinese secret, which did not turn out as a secret. Disrupted my all Smirnoff team selections. Have fun & good luck everyone!
  19. HBernard Docker oops, Spod beat me back @canuckledraggin
  20. I heard it was unlikely. But you have to have fun with some picks. So far I have been doing the Russian thing instead. Team Smirnoff.
