  1. Right side isn't good. It's more like left side is B Right side is C as guys are gonna play out of their skill sets. Having said that pairings are critical. Sometimes it just works even though it shouldn't. I think Jets and Habs have a better defense. Leafs don't although Muzzin would be great.
  2. "Hey Greener is practice optional" I didn't like him. Yes, I'm old school.
  3. That's the challenge right there. If right side guys get the same minutes so do left side guys? Combine that with Myers/Hughes limits and you combos are at risk especially on the pk. Poolman, Hamonic, Myers in particular with the unknown of OJ and Rathbone might expose some holes.
  4. Does that mean Hamonic or Poolman get top minutes?
  5. OEL an upgrade. Who gets paired with him do you think?
  6. I still question the PK if Myers, Hamonic, or Poolman are in the box or hurt.
  7. Totally, but which Canadian team sorry as per the article? Tampa league wide easily. Islanders are the NJD from 1997. Boring as heck. That's a Lou team.
  8. We also drink more scotch so that helps.
  9. I'm double vaxxed but I find it scary 15% of people in the ICU are vaccinated.
  10. So who do we think has the best d? Habs? Jets?
  11. Yea he is better than Poolman I think but not by much. Doesn't mean Poolman is bad he's a good fit which is more important. There is always the knock on shot blockers..... They wouldn't block a shot if they moved the puck properly the first time. The flip side to that is Nylander the flamingo doesn't block shots period.
  12. Russell has always interested me. He always seems to get his nose dirty but he always seems to not be very good. I can't put my finger on it.
  13. Exactly. It's a first round exit type of defense. I think they lack a true #1 and a true #4. They also lack a bomb but Rathbone might fill the void. Not a scary dman back there either the combo of OEL and Hughes is soft but they won't pair together. Hamonic and Myers ok but not scary.
  14. On paper it isn't great at all. Sure, I'll get flamed but whatever. The right side has a problem in the top 4. If the stars align, it will work. Could have some serious holes.
  15. Oh yea totally but traded from a position of strength? Hosed the Habs haha. I still think the Canucks D has holes but it's much improved.
  16. The thing about these people usually is they are cowards. If you were in DQ at that exact moment he wouldn't have done anything. They pounce on the vulnerable.
  17. Ok Batman. I don't disagree with you but that won't work especially when the 4 guys are 250 lbs. I feel so bad for people trying to enforce the rules.
  18. Good on you, if I need a 6 pack there's not much I am turning around for.
  19. Defense is difficult and time consuming to fill out which is why it must be done first. The Tyler Mottes are a dime a dozen and can fill so many holes. He can almost play every spot ( other than 1 & 2 C) up front in a pinch. Luke Schenn on the other hand is an extremely effective and important piece on any team, but would get slaughtered pulling in top minutes.
