Double fault to end the set.. Nadal needs to get his 2nd serve better because that's bringing him down.

Djokovic is having a hard time holding, while Rafa is holding easily. Exact opposite of last year.

Hoping Rafa can take this in 5.

Djokovic, was serving for the match at 5-2, and it's now 5-5.

I really don't fail to understand. I've seen every match they played in Grand Slams. I've also watched many more between the two in other ATP events. For example, at the year end Masters last year, Fed demolished Rafa 6-3, 6-0 in exactly an hour. Guess how many unforced errors? 8. Sure it may be a set less, but if the same match was played in 3 sets, he would've been on pace for 12 unforced errors. Federer is the one who beats himself. Why? It's a mental thing. During their first five matches, Nadal won 4/5. After that Federer went on a roll against him. They then started having close battles, with Rafa dominating in the odd match. Perfect example was this mornings match. Federer breaks Nadal, goes on his serve, goes down 0-15, and what happens? He starts hitting unforced errors, on easy, easy shots. Once it hits 0-15 on his serve, he gets the mindset of here we go again, causing him to try too hard, which he really doesn't need to do. And the product is unforced errors, which for the most part are annoyingly easy shots. I remember listening on the AO radio when I couldn't watch the match for about 45 minutes, and they were stunned at the unforced errors he was hitting. Nadal is a great player, and matches up well, but Federer is the better player, and unforced errors, is the cause of him losing. I don't remember anyone ever hitting 60 unforced errors let alone the greatest player of all time. Suffice to say I'm still disappointed he lost. Hopefully Murray will beat Rafa on Sunday. (That's right, I'm predicting an upset victory for Murray against Djokovic )

I'm not giving Rafa any credit because if Fed converted on his opportunities, he wins in straight sets. I remember in the second set, Fed went up a break 2-1, and got re-broken. Again, how many times did he fail to convert break points? A lot, and why? They are called unforced errors for a reason as they are unforced. If Fed cuts the over 60 he had in half, he will win. And cutting them in half was possible. How many times did you see Federer hit an easy forehand into the net? At the same time, he was hitting those in the first set. Like I've said before, Fed kills himself against Rafa. I give credit to Rafa for re-breaking like 2 or 3 times, and converting opportunities. Otherwise, It was Federer's match to lose, and that's what he did.

It was, some of the shots both of them made were amazing. Again, the only reason Fed lost, was because of unforced errors. He had over 60 unforced errors. You can't win like that against a top 10 player let alone the 2nd best player of all time.

Pathetic effort by Federer. I'm disgusted. How many times would he have break points only to hit the return long, or into the net. And if that doesn't happen, his 2nd hit in the rally would go long, wide or into the net. Not to mention the two different break points that he had when Rafa was serving for the match. This should be 2 sets all, but not converting on the break point at 4-3, cost him it. Rafa didn't win this match, Roger lost it with over 60 unforced errors. I read a tweet about them playing after the first set was over and it said something along the lines of this: When Nadal plays Federer, Federer kills Federer. That fact was proven tonight.

And Federer with the break. 4-3 in the 3rd set. Now we'll see if he does anything with it,

Wow, break at love, then get re-broken at love.

Fed with the first set. I think this first game is important. Nadal might be a little choked, but if he holds comfortably, he'll be fine. Otherwise, if he holds on a hard fought game, or gets broken, watch out for Fed.

And Sharapova is through to the final, 6-2, 3-6, 6-4. Hopefully the same seeds are through for the men as well. (Would be Federer [3] vs Murray [4] ) Now time for the the match of the night in an hour!

And Sharapova holds to go up 3-2 in the third set. Big game coming up here.

Sharapova breaks Kvitova, gets broken back, and then re-breaks again. Someone wanna hold serve?

Wow, big reaction, like she won it. Still going to be a big test in Sharapova, or Kvitova.

Wow that was an amazing game, Clijsters' back on serve at 3-4. Azarenka screwed up by playing that volley wide, most people let that bounce then hit it.

Really excited for Rafa and Fed tonight, the way these two are playing, it will make for a classic. Last time they met was at the year end Masters where Federer beat Nadal 6-3, 6-0, so he has the confidence to beat him.
