  1. I keep playing that damn "draft simulator" and I've resigned myself to the Canucks picking 5th or 6th. I can't get that bastard to agree with my dreams and so over and over.... 70% chance of picking 4-6..

Damn you Buttman, you stink like a dead cat that won't stop farting.

what do you do at 4 or 5...pick a D or maybe Dubois?

Whoa Shakey, me?... I wish I knew man. BPA I guess.. and I'd ask JB who the hell that is!

      GB, you speak the truth.

I want to build our D from a #1 out. If we're drafting top 3 then it would be silly not to draft a Finn or Matthews. I might be fine trading down for  Finn if someone wants him more, but if not, take the top scoring forward IF drafting top 3.

If we're 5th, and Chychrun is available, take him, or if JB thinks he has an eye on a prospect better suited to be a badass #! then make a trade for his projected position, and draft more D with the picks involved in the trade.

If we're 4th, well now we're in a gamble. I don't know much about Dubois. Hell, all of my knowledge of ANY prospect comes from reading articles, watching highlights, and deciphering nonsense from critical thought in the draft and prospect forum.

If a D JB covets is available when we draft, and Tkachuk or Dubois are similarly available, I'm going for defense. Defensemen take both a $&!#load of time, and some luck, to develop into top pairing players. I'd rather build a strong D corps, then draft or continue to develop our offensive forwards around that.

      Plus some other stuff.

      Phew. I need a beer.
