  1. Lol beagle and motte are useful af. Guys like them allow Petey and Boeser to flourish With offensive minutes. Motte is a good example for anyone on the team. Give it 150 percent and force your way onto the roster, make it impossible for the coach to take you out. A team needs true heart and soul guys like Beagle and motte to avoid being a buffalo or Edmonton. Guys like Sutter, Goldy and Spooner are the ones you look to move. people always complain about JBs UFA signings yet want him to dip into the pot again this year. None of those guys will sign for under 4.5m or less than 4 year deals

just walk around Keefer and Pender streets in Chinatown. You'll find everything from awesome $2 bao to great pizza to very high end Chinse-fusion.

Indian Roti Kitchen or Las Tortas..both on Cambie.  If you're at a game you head South over the Cambie Bridge then keep going up Cambie for a couple of blocks...they're both on the right hand/West side of the street.

Las Margaritas in Kits is fun too.  Noisy/cramped though.

Quick bite? Chicken Shwarma from Al Basha in kits.. $8 and delish

Sit down? Tavola on Denman. they have their every day pasta menu but they have a chalkboard menu that isn't posted on their website. The chalkboard menu changes daily depending on what they have in.

Fine Dining? Le Crocodile on Burrard and Smithe. High end french cuisine but will set you back $100+ per person. One of the best meals of my life.

  3. Looking to go somewhere sunny in November, is Bahamas worth the extra money? Or should I stick to what I know and go back to Cuba? Open to anywhere Safety and food are my main priorities

    1. CanuckinEdm

      CanuckinEdm

Food is a priority and your going thinking Cuba?

I would rather Mexico, Jamaica, or Dominican over Cuba

I didn't really enjoy the Bahamas as much as I thought I would when I went, especially at the cost. If you're thinking about it, I would reccoment the Domincan.

  4. anyone have advice or tips for going to Bahamas in November

  5. If they’re good enough they wouldn’t be scratched now would they
  6. MDZ + Gudbranson + Ganger for Pearson + Schenn + Spooner This is moneyball at its finest, addition by subtraction + assets on all of these trades props to JB. I think theres a 70 percent chance Pearson pots 40 points next year, we lose Gudbranson who was tough and that is it. Spooner I am a little less sure on but hey we got an NHL body who has potential to score 30-40 points for us, in exchange for Ganger who was playing for Uticas rival. Schenn Ive heard some good advanced stats about Schenn, he is almost as tough as Gudbranson and will play hard for you every night and can bring that truculence factor when need be, Can't be any worse in his own zone than MDZ right?.... Right?
  7. I wonder if high scoring is going to be an anomaly for a season or two as the keepers adjust to smaller pads or if the change will be to great. One thing is for sure, the elite goaltenders are going to standout more with the gear restrictions they have now.

  8. Schroeder lead the tourney in points..
  9. Yeah makes you wanna vomit when they donate millions of their own money to childrens hospitals, and give their own time just to try bring joy and happiness to people. Ya people like you make me vomit, you must be not be a very good person to not appreciate what guys like the Sedins have done for Vancouver

Section 103. My brother is coming with me unless he can't get it off work.

  12. If I'm STL I don't do that deal, deals like this don't happen after the one sided affairs that were the Lindros and Thornton deals
  13. Unpopular opinion:

Reduce schedule to 62 games, home & away with each team.

    Pros:

-Higher calibre hockey due to reduced fatigue, injuries, over-saturation of games

    -More emphasis on rivalry matches

-Every point really matters from day 1

      Ticket prices would go up
      Player salaries would go down
      Profits would be reduced
      Fans would get less games

Too many cons vs the pros

20 fewer games? No thanks. I'd be ok with reducing the season to an even 80 games, but that's all. Want to increase the quality of hockey? Fold a couple of sunbelt teams and relocate a couple others.

Good for you. I bought a Silverado 4 years ago and December is my last payment. I can't wait.

  15. I know, I like him. a couple guys were ragging JB for signing him because he would take away a roster spot from a young guy.
  16. Hows Schaller looking so far?
  17. Atiba Hutchison Canada's untalked about star

  18. @UticaHockey I seen that MacEwen is off to a good start, seems like he did pretty well in his first pro season, has the size, and a really good story of always working hard to get where he is, do you think he has the ability to translate his skills to become an NHL regular?
  19. gotta love working a 5-5 night shift on thanksgiving, got paid the stat + time 1.5 for 12 hours lets get this money baby

Simmonds would've been the perfect #1 RW for the Twins. Absolutely perfect fit.

I'd do 3 years 8.5 million per in a heartbeat but he would probably be looking at an Eriksson or Okposo contract in the range of 6-7x6-7.

  22. 12 points in 114 games
  23. Lol 6 years ago he definitely had potential.. Should we trade Schaller for Henrik Samuelsson or Stefan Matteau because they have potential?
  24. Schaller is 4 years older than Gaunce not like Gaunce is 20 and Schaller is 32
  25. Gaunce is just oozing with potential?
