      No doubt. A highly underrated player who brings so many intangibles. He is worth way more to us then we would receive in return for him via trade. People who think he will get us a 1st round pick are dreaming. As good of a player as he is, at most we would get would be a 2nd round pick, or a young prospect/project and a 3rd-5th round pick (depending on how good the prospect was). Just not worth it in my opinion.

      Sorry for your loss Twilight that's really horrible. This just came out of nowhere. Yes I failed to get my flu shot and that is what prevents it apparently.

    Who should we trade Demko for? Or Markstrom? One of them will be our #1 starter, the other will be trade bait. Who gets us the best return?

      What Rant said. Keep both and let them develop before moving 1. Markstrom will be a starter before Demko anyways. No need to rush.

      Although possible, I'm not interested in trading away a future franchise goalie again. Horvat is awesome, but if I could go back in time and undo that trade, I would. All of the other offers on the table were much better than NJ's, but they were all division rivals.

      But if we had to trade one (maybe 3-5 years down the line), I think it'd be Markstrom. There's no way consecutive GMs trade the wrong franchise goalie again.

      To answer your question: Demko gets us the best return. He's younger, faster, and arguably as good if not better than Cory Schneider.
