  1. Sestito has been earning his way on this roster the last few games I agree. And he was one of the few Canucks 'mucking it up' as Mark Lee would say
  2. I agree re: Kassian. This was a game he could step it up physically and really help our team. Instead, limited minutes and he didn't do much at all. He needs to crash and bang, and fight, if he isn't scoring.
  3. To be fair they had Hrudey as their colour commentator... kind of an LA fan I'd imagine. Anyway, it was a disappointing loss but this is a Stanley Cup winning team coming off a 5 game losing streak, I expected them to be more motivated than the Canucks and it showed. Luongo, Tanev and Kesler all had great games. Other than that, we got out worked by an admittedly more determined Kings team. I hope Burrows comes back soon, since the Sedins seem invisible out there these days, and when they do score, it's often not at key times. We can't be carried by our 2nd line the entire year and expect a good seed in this conference! But again, very strong performance by Roberto in his return from injury, one of the few positives. And it looks like Kesler is gearing up for Sochi
  4. Admittedly the Flyers might be my fav team outside of my hometown team Vancouver, but from what I've seen of them the last few years, they're anything but the kind of team who phones it in during big games. They step up for big games, even if they aren't an elite team in their own right anymore. I don't think we'll be seeing an easy game tomorrow.
  5. Huh? So the implication is the younger players on rival teams are using drugs but we aren't? Come on..
  6. I hope Corrado. I really liked him when I saw him in the NHL before. Keeps it simple, is reliable positionally. Reminded me of Tanev. I haven't seen Sauve in forever.
  7. They don't suck. They had a terrible start to the year but are actually a decent team now. They've picked it up. I'm expecting a good game.
  8. I've been looking forward to this one, I'll be attending
  9. Holy smokes, thems trolls are well fed tonight
  10. They're a dime a dozen! Meanwhile, I'm a huge Santorelli fan lately. Who saw that skating on the short handed goal? Tanev is also one of my favs and he finished that sucker off, but man, that skating!
  11. Yeah his highlights are longer than usual, but that's basically what I want. Something a little beyond from the typical 4-5min goal scoring summary on NHL.com. But the humour thrown in is funny too
  12. Why has this video not reached a trillion likes? I laughed my ass off hard at this tonight ,hahahha
  13. I like watching these rather than the 3-5min "highlights" NHL.com puts out
  14. Santorelli, Tanev, Hamhuis, Garrison... British Columbians we've sorely lacked in years past who play with heart and passion, and love this team. It's paying off
  15. I liked him since day 1. Richardson is a solid player defensively and he's the kind of guy you want on the bottom 6. He's definitely our best 3rd line C since Malhotra, I'm a fan of him so far
  16. Wow, that form didn't like your HTML bro
  17. I wouldn't compare it to that at all. Fiddler's impression was hilarious and even AV thought so. Marchand's taunt was just classless and fired up the team that was beating them already anyway, a bad move for an agitator
  18. https://twitter.com/Real_ESPNLeBrun said the coach is not happy with Marchand repeatedly kissing his ring finger while his team was losing. Me thinks the coach isn't thrilled that the pest chose to piss off the team that was beating them at that point. Good pests don't give the other team momentum
  19. For the record I thought Marchand was one of their best players tonight straight up hockey wise. All that taunting and stuff probably just got the Canucks going even more though, perhaps he needs to rethink his strategy. Sure taunt people if you're a pest, but when the game is getting away from you? He helped dig their grave
  20. Yeah, because the Bruins are as bad as the Oilers..
  21. I know right? That Iginla fellow is a wimp and not tough at all.... clearly Kesler is picking his fights
  22. Yeah it was interesting. We very rarely saw that move with AV but Torts seemed to wake the team up with it in this game. I remember the old Flyers coach used to do that sometimes, and one season during the playoffs it worked out big time for them. It's one of those extra moves a coach can do but not many bother to do, that I think makes a difference... Sometimes the boys just need a kick in the arse to motivate them
