  1. Doughty is the best dman in the league? Hmmm. Doughty is -34! I thought Gudbranson's -20 made him the 'officially the worst Dman in the NHL....? But Doughty at -34 = the best.
  2. Nah - Columbus' bench. The joke was the commentator speaking for Nash = 'but I wasn't here last year, I was in Boston'. The quote from rinkside however was Hedman saying "you guys" to the Columbus bench.
  3. quote a post where I 'cheer for Boston'. good luck with that. you on the other hand - chief Leaf-fluffer - calling other people turncoats. the ironing is delicious. And even more deilicious = your self-righteous "real Canucks fan" soapboxing. Now I've seen it all on these boards.
  4. Yeah - I like the team that Tampa/Yzerman/Brisebois have built - but I'd definitelly enjoy watching the presser of Cooper after a first round exit.
  5. I'd make the call as well. HI Ray....fk you, you lucky bastard. Dial tone.
  6. I don't put much stake in anything Pronman says/ranks. Ie - I think he had Pettersson at #17 in 2017. I always take his rankings with a full shaker of salt. hockeyprospect is a far better source imo - and have him at 11, one spot ahead of Soderstrom.
  7. 8 powerplays and game-management still can't spoon feed some condiments to the milkhotdogs.
  8. ? my money is still on him in a barn fight. Burke is dead right about repeat lottery champions being rewarded for incompetence. There should be a limit.
  9. Stastny and Pacioretty not bad either.... But they lost Sbisa, so probably a break-even thing.
  10. not everything out of the 80s was the goat lol. it was like tearing off a bandaid - if it was cold, and you drank it fast enough....after a few your taste buds grew a tolerance.
  11. I was thinking Amnesiac - a double IPA that wastes no time - and Hop Circle - both pretty good imo.
  12. You read wrong. I'd never soil anything with clam. I said tomato juice. Clam was for the middle class.
  13. Honestly - I can no longer force the stuff down. Like you said - too many great beer to choose from nowadays. And if bargain basement budget is the issue, it's pretty hard to beat some Bowen Island IPA.
  14. When I moved to the island a long time ago, lol - my beer was confiscated and I was given two options - Kokanee or Lucky. I took the Kokanee lol. But in due course, everyone came to drink Lucky. It was the leading selling beer on the island. Maybe not something to be proud of.... It was actually better back then, or our taste buds were underdeveloped. You could buy a 24 for under $20. But here's how to drink it. Pour it in a glass. Slide an ounce of tomato juice down the side. Slam it. The only thing you taste is an ounce of tomato juice. Economy! We'd called that a "red eye".
  15. Maybe you just don't know how to drink it? You must not be from the island haha.
