  1. I'm not a big fan of the idea of bringing starters in relief...
  2. Crisp is about as pesky as they come. Always hate seeing that guy come to the plate.
  3. Kluber is looking shaky. Nice. Please jump on him early before he calibrates.
  4. One game for all the marbles. Tomorrow is gonna be intense.
  5. what a dumbass baserunning decision. Perez is awesome though.
  6. I agree with Buck. I might want to save a bit of Chapman's gas in case they need him tomorrow. What a beast.
  7. Could you imagine the atmosphere in Wrigley if this game were in Chicago? Or game 7? Annoying.
  8. Absolutely horrible imo that these last two games are not in Chicago. Determined by a pathetic gimmick to attempt to arouse some interest in the meaningless all-star game. The Cubs had the best record in baseball - by a significant margin - were a full 9 wins better than Cleveland. Home field should be determined by the teams themselves, not some AL/NL dog and pony show.
  9. um. wow. The Cubbies look like they're pushing this to game 7. That should be epic.
  10. Got a quote from Baertschi?
  11. I don't respect that kind of after the series snipe. Bautista tried to get in the young lefy's head. Didn't work, but that's part of the game. Kipnis batted .067 (with that constipated batting stance of his) in the series - maybe he's not the guy that should be chirping a veteran gamer that just ripped the ball his last two at bats in an elimination game. Merritt answered it far better than Kipnis.
  12. Had to pvr this one and watch it after the fact - but was lucky not to find out the result. Wow - JD just willing this one to a win. That was impressive. He was on fire. If they come back, that diving stop could be the turning point. Nice to give Kluber an L as well. Sanchez was money. Cleveland could tighten up a bit if the Jays come out strong in game 5.
  13. I don't think the crowd has earned a walk off victory tbh. They've sat on their hands almost all night. Mopey Toronto sports fans.
