Have you whiners even see JT play? Ive personally been wanting him on the Canucks for years. I dont see us NOT making the playoffs next year let alone the year after. Gives management plenty of time to find another deal to recoup that first as well, and by then we should have plenty of tradeabme assets. I hate giving up firsts but its not that bad of a deal. This isnt a cap dump, we just got a top 6 winger/C for years to come.

Well based on our scouting depts track record recently I fully expect this guy to be a calder candidate when he comes over from Russia.

Uhh ok bro's but how about that Brogan guy? Liked what I saw from him, he looks pretty solid. Made some nice skill plays with Boeser today. Seems like a confident guy in his interviews. I could see him in training camp playing his way into the lineup for opening night next year.

I'd (selfishly) be okay w/ Irf's timeline, as I have tickets for the game on Saturday Wouldn't be too upset if his first game was Thursday either, will be fun to watch him and get a feel for what this team will be like next season!

I was one of the biggest supporters of Guddy since we acquired him and I always said "next year he will get better" & "next year he will be more consistent" ... But that never happened. Actually I think this is his worst year. Sucks that he didn't pan out. But that's the way of the road. Thanks for some memorable moments and big hits and that deadly Movember stache every year Guddy. Welcome Pearson!

Well, guess I have to change my signature now.... haha At first I was upset about this trade but since I learned he asked for a trade I don't really care. He didn't show up for pre-season or training camp and was very inconsistent in the AHL from what I've heard, if he thinks he deserves a spot for no good reason than that's not the guy we want on our team anyways. Now he goes to SJ where he will have an even tougher time to crack the lineup. Best of luck to Linus and welcome to the Canucks org, looking forward to watching his development.

It's the nature of the media in this market. Always something to complain or nit-pick. Even if they have to make stuff up as they go. And the worst part is the 'average' fan eats it all up. EP will be a force regardless of how big he is at 19.
