Because, much like Horvat, Vilardi is also defined by his great character guy with a strong work ethic. Part of having those traits is knowing what you need to work on and improve on it just like Horvat did and what Vilardi is likely to do. Also for people saying he has a high risk high reward player you might want to check this http://thehockeywriters.com/elias-pettersson-2017-nhl-draft-prospect-profile/ His Risk level is 3/5 and Reward is 3.5/5 Comparison Vilardi - Risk 2/5 Reward 4/5 Glass - Risk 1/5 Reward 5/5 So who do you go for someone who has a very low risk but high reward or someone with a higher risk and lower reward? hmmm

If you are going to define a player based on his skating as a junior that the franchise should have given up with Bo Horvat the moment the team drafted him
-
Yet somehow Villardi and Glass placed higher than Pettersson in their rankings
-
The other problem I have with Pettersson is no hockey analysts had him at a #5 ranked player whereas Glass, Villardi, and Mittlestat all have top 5 placement at one point. I didn't mind when Benning picking Virtanen since picking him wasnt really off the board but Pettersson was way off.

After the picking Pettersson over Glass in the Draft The Canucks are now one of the bigger losers of the NHL Draft according to The Bleacher Report http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2717660-2017-nhl-draft-results-biggest-winners-and-losers-of-round-1

Glass was a bonafide Centre
-
Of course when Cody Glass is available and is seen as someone similar to Mark Scheifele, who is a 1st line center, then I'd want Benning's head if Glass pans out and Petersen only becomes a 2nd line center

Yeah I heard that before ... Can anyone say Jared McCann ?

I hate Benning

2017 NHL Draft - Chicago, Illinois June 23-24 2017

Question what happens to Casey Mittelstadt? Wasn't he supposed to be one of the Top 5 picks (higher than glass) this year it seems like it seems word on him has been really quiet recently and has been passed over by Elias Pettersson. -

Time will tell but considering how Ehlers, Nylander, and Ritchie have all turned out for now I will consider the pick .... -

I would think Arizona is in rebuild mode so I don't see why they would want Tanev. If anything Dallas or Philly might be more realistic trading partners but the cost to get the #2 or #3 pick might be too high. I'd say it depends on which players are still available at a certain sport if Benning likes someone still in the Islanders, Panthers, Kings, Jets or Leafs, spot I can see him get that pick for Tanev + CBJ 2nd. -

Remains to be seen, I mean right now Chychrun is playing in the NHL and did quite well as a rookie -

I mean yeah it's certain some of these players will be available at 5th but then again Tkachuk fell into Vancouver last draft and see how that turned out -
Considering the Cavs won the Championship last year, I don't think the team deserves to have the word "choke" associated with them. Sure they might get swept this year but they won last year which, if I were a Cavs fan, would make me happy for a very long time.
-
I'm just pissed since this means he won't be in the World Championships, which i'll be attending in Paris. Oh well at least I still get to see Edler
-
I was happy with his progression this year though his late season slump kind of concerns me. It makes me feel he's probably going to settle into a 45 to 55 point player. Rather than a 60 to 65 pt guy.

I wonder if we can get those players with another Top 10 pick. I am thinking about this whole Tanev, Edler, or Hutton trade talks and I am looking at this year's standings would Winnipeg be a good trading partner to get their 1st Round pick? Tanev + 2nd Round Pick for Winnpieg's 1st? The Jets can score and were outside looking in this season and had one of the worst GA in the regular season. -
I think Boeser, Gaudette, Demko, Juolevi, and Stecher might give Benning some time in the organization. Of course Granlund, Sutter, and Gudbranson could still turn out well for the team. Virtanen wasn't exactly Benning's fault since he was the consensus #6. Though I think ultimately the progression of Juolevi will finally decide Benning's fate, he had Tkachuk fallen under his lap and went the unconventional way picking Juolevi. So if Juolevi becomes a disappointment and Tkachuk continues to build from his rookie season then Benning is in trouble. It's amazing though that Benning hasn't called up Jordan Subban or Cole Cassels yet though. Subban could help in the PP and Cassels has shown how good he is shutting down McDavid in the Juniors.

I guess he didn't live up to the hype

Triple H has been having the same match for years now. His match with Rollins was a 2+ year build with a non-sanctioned match stipulation. It should have been a blood feud with Triple H trying to end Rollins career and it should have ended with Rollins Pedigreeing Triple H but not pinning him and does Curb Stomping on Trips on a steel chair for the win leaving Triple H gushing in blood. The problem with Triple H is that he doesn't know how to put people over. His matches has him dominating 70% of the time until the other guys hits a move for the win. It's extra worse in this match because the finish was due to Triple H accidentally bumping into Stephanie and Triple H getting distracted. Triple H just needs to stop wrestling at WM as well. He doesn't really put anyone over and, while he can still have a good match, he disappears after WM to continue any program.

Undertaker needed to retire but I just want Roman Reigns to go away.

I noticed there are no more updates for the Stone Cold Podcast in the Network? What happened?

I kind of wished the "Multiple Warning Signs Surrounding Zack Kassian" would have turned out to be a worth successor to this thread.
