Disappointing loss for the Blazers. I used to work with Stankoven’s uncle back in the 80’s. Super nice guy and an awesome hockey player in his own right. It’s scary how much Logan looks like his uncle. Every time the camera pans on Logan, I do a double take. In any event, Logan’s a great young player who plays the game the right way. Maybe a Joe Pavelski in the making. I’m hoping that he develops into a great pro. On another note, I loved the interview with Iggy. He just seems like a genuinely great guy.

Couldn’t hack watching the panel without Juice, so I flipped over to hoops. Another lopsided game. Oh well. At least there’s the Memorial Cup. Seattle v Quebec. Should be good.

Thanks to Jim, Canuck fans have an encyclopedic knowledge of most of the fringe players that had a cup of tea in the NHL over the past decade. Jim paved the way for many guys to have a career in the KHL, because they could say that they played in the show.

Wtf Peterborough. Looked like a dangerous hit on Kamloops dman Masters. Had to stretcher him off the ice, so he’s likely out for the rest of the tournament. Zebras hand out offsetting minors, and no penalty on the hit. I guess I’m the wrong guy to judge what a dirty hit is.
