  1. Hope you have a complete recovery. At least you’ll get to watch the team progress. Cheers
  2. To be fair, there only really seems to be one anti Rutherford voice in this thread. So many posts by one guy makes it seem like there’s an angry mob. Props to Max for his stamina.
  3. I blame JR for the drop from 10 to 20. It’s already happening. /s
  4. Like many on here, I’m a huge fan of Miller. Having said that, I would “sell high” on him at the TDL, so I totally agree Darius. One thing nags at me about Miller. Is he the guy who’s going to make that crucial mistake, in the big game? His high risk, high reward style would lead you to believe that he might just be the one to screw up at the worst possible time. Nick Leddy’s giveaway to Burrows on the “slay the dragon” goal in 2011 comes to mind.
  5. You’re going to criticize him now for what he did in his formation years as a GM? People do learn from their mistakes and become better at what they do. If you follow the NFL, there’s this fellow named Bill Belichek. Lost a bunch of games in his early years of coaching. These days he’s referred to as the GOAT.
  6. This never gets old. Marchand was hitting the high notes in the shower for weeks afterwards. Beantown announcers crying about cheap shots. Oh, the ironing.
  7. From the list, I like McFarland and Stacy Roest. I would hire both and have McFarland be in charge of Management and contracts while Roest could be in charge of drafting and player development. Bring back Gillis as president.
  8. Thinking outside of the box here. Assistant GM from Tampa Bay has two of these. Knows a thing or two about player development. And he’s a BC boy.
