  1. I do the alternate range thats out of 100, easier to wrap my head around lol
  2. Wow. The Ducks just fired their coach after he went 1-4-0. Needless to say the GM was just given an ultimatum as that was the fourth coach he's gone through
  3. In my game it's midway through the 21/22 season, and Conner McDavid has finally started to put up more than a ppg. Before he was hovering around the .9 ppg (and funnily enough he was drafted by the Canucks, not my doing) Horvat played one season in the NHL for the Blackhawks before playing the last 5 years in the KHL. And McCann I actually have on my team after picking him off waivers from the Sens. Played all last year on the big club, but got surpassed and now is on my AHL team. Virtanen is pretty much the only main current nucks prospect still on the Canucks, as a 4th liner lol
  4. Yea it's always a great idea if you haven't got three overagers already to pick one up! For me though I always have more issues with having my underagers being good enough to play on the big club, but only able to have two on the team haha. Have you been able to figure out how to use the player search filters effectively? One thing that helps me a ton (especially if I'm hunting to undrafted prospects) is configuring my filters for age, availability/rights, and certain attributes I'm gearing towards like passing and shooting for forwards, or glove and blocker for goalies That's where your shortlist scouting is especially helpful, because some diamonds in the rough may be found in leagues you never considered or are too small for dedicating a scout
  5. Depends for me, for CHL teams would be two for the bantam draft (one looking for notable and one looking for non notable prospects), one for the Import draft, two for the league I'm in, and then a definite good idea is to scout your own team/minor team so you know what you have. And I have one for my shortlist as well for any players I wanna find out about that my scouts haven't covered. For the NHL, after the draft/nhl/ahl/ohl/whl/qmjhl/team/shortlist assignments I add some for different countries like Sweden or Russia
  6. My current team in 2019/2020 for Florida; J. Benn - A. Barkov - M. Gaborik J. Huberdeau - M. Kruger - J. Colborne Q. Howden - C. Tierney - B. Comeau B. McGinn - V. Trocheck - A. Duclair O. Maatta - J. Chychrun A. Edler - P. Postma C. Krys - Z. Werenski P. Mrazek J. Ortio And on my AHL team I've got Luongo on his last year (thank god, wouldnt waive his damn NTC crippling my cap space), and three of the four Kamloops Blazers players I had from my time as GM there. Two should be able the make the NHL as 2nd/3rd liners so should be interesting when Gabby retires. Thing I was most upset about though was the owners forced me to trade Ekblad away in my first year. Was one of the reasons why I chose the Panthers.
  7. Yea I found in the juniors your goalie has a huge impact on how well you do. I ended up having to overpay in the offseason to get a good one from another team, and then my #1 pick that draft was for the best goalie avaliable. (Because it takes a year for him to be able to be eligible to play for your team) I'm with the Panthers currently, post a team when I got a sec. Best part is drafting/trading for players in the NHL that you had in the Juniors, kinda like grooming them for your team
  8. Yep, but like driving, I spend most of my time going straight. Josh Holloway is the only one I'd seriously consider switching teams for though
  9. A little bit of gay me came out
  10. One of the best threads I ever read on Reddit was "deaf people, when did you first find out that farts were audible?" It's one of those questions you never really think about asking, but reaaaally want to know the answers to as soon as you read it. Did not disappoint.
  11. Did I miss Relly coming out? Or still a jury's out kinda deal
  12. Oooooohhhh that shoulda stayed blue
  13. Pm me the link and ill let you know if I click or it stays blue
  14. Disturbing funny? Or disturbing what the actual fuuuu?
  15. i got daydrunk in Australia after doing a brewery tour, and after clenching for what felt like forever i peed my shorts one stop from where i had to get off
  16. thing is Mayweather has it all wrong, your supposed to hug your wife and punch people in the ring, not the other way around
  17. I know, no youtube link, but "The Bones of Jr. Jones" is amazing, check out Sing Sing or Ticket Home. Very lovely chill music
  18. My only real complaint is that I always get two "x player has been suspended x games", effectively doubling the suspension. Other than that haven't had too many qualms
  19. Oh wow, never been offered a GM job by an NHL team before, always had to apply for them. sorry Flyers goin for the Mem Cup this year
  20. And you need a couple years anyways to put your fingerprint on the team. It takes a year before you can sign any players you draft, and then a couple more to actually see them get better
  21. Doing that right now, managing the Kamloops Blazers, and an undrafted guy I picked up (Robbie Logan) is now rated 2nd overall for the NHL draft. Gonna do another year or two of WHL then start applying for an NHL gig
  22. Is there a general consensus on what works well and what doesnt with the game? I'd love to get it, but I'm worried about things like maybe I can't play as a WHL GM and move up the ladder, or if trades are excessively unrealistic, or potentials are out to lunch, etc. Not really a big fan of buying half-done games, but it appears ehm2007 is no longer obtainable so I dont know what choice I have. Hopefully you guys have played it enough to warrent a good unbiased review on functionality haha
