How about you just wait and see how this team plays this year and the following year to really see if Benning deserves the credit, and allow him to prove to people like myself who gave up on Benning after this year to help me change my mind again hopefully, but you have to give it time and results need to show first to back it all up.

I was curious to see what the reactions were after FA, and the point is that anti-Benning bros are illogical. Benning's made plenty of mistakes, but failing to see he had a good offseason is amiss. You'll see your usual suspects who aren't fans of Benning say absolutely nothing about the good signings. That's a sign they don't care about the team.
