I also was thinking this as an option for next year, but still he's going to cost a lot, Price got 30M a year without ever winning a playoff game.. On a side note I still remember when Darvish was going to make the move to the MLB and Blue Jays were in the run to aquire him back in 2011, but never happened lol. Back in 2011. Japanese sensation Yu Darvish will not be taking his services to Toronto, after it was announced late Monday night that the Rangers won the rights to exclusively negotiate with the powerful right-hander. Texas won the secret auction with a record bid of $51.7 million according to a report by YahooSports. That money will be given to Darvish's Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters team of the Nippon Professional Baseball League in Japan if Texas and Darvish are able to come to terms. -

I know exactly what you're talking about I hear PBP guys say that all the time it is kind of annoying, yes they're right but who cares they're playing at this field not another. Regarding the last comment I have heard Buck say it before at Blue Jays games, if the shift wasn't on that would of been a base hit, or he got robbed of a base hit because of the shift, I know Jays PBP will bring it up... American ones probably don't and just accept it as a good defensive play, and call it smart strategy. -

You pretty much answered your own question, kind of hard to argue that they're not Canada's team when they're the only Canadian team in all of Canada... These other teams you speak of south of the border are American teams not Canadian. Just to clear it up they're Canada's team because they're the only one in Canada. -

So the only way to watch the Yankees and Indians in the Playoffs is buy paying MLB.com to watch it on there live... How does this make sense? Talk about greed what garbage. -

I do agree as well with off loading Martin, not going to lie been saying that since the beginning of last year. No question he's a good catcher but 20M a season worth... He's like Tulo they can play their position well, but their bat isn't coming through for a 20M a season player, their younger selfs were worth that. I do agree with @Xbox though in a way in how Martin catches the pitchers, because you could really see the difference with a starting catcher for the pitching staff compared to 2nd string catcher this year. If they were to off load Martin they'd definitely have to aquire another starter for sure and not hope on backups to fill that role. Also regarding Martin he's going to be 35 next year and injuries are starting to happen to him, and catching is very hard on the knees it does affect a lot of catchers, he did seem very interested in wanting to play 3B there this year maybe looking at other options away from the plate... -

Well that's the thing Cleveland's pitching is pretty damn good I really don't see them making many mistakes but if they do Yankees better be ready for it, because if they're not chances that it will happen again are slim to none. Should be a great series no matter what, but just hard to say a favorite, but still I'm going for the Indians. -

With Bautista now basically gone this isn't his team anymore, I see it as Donaldson's team now and feel they should sign him for about 5 years which takes him to the age of around 37-38, basically where Bautista is now. The one I'm more worried about is what you mentioned with Goins and Travis especially with Tulo still on this team, personally I would like a trade with Tulo but he has a NTC but would be nice to trade him free up some money to get pitching. I'd really like to see Goins take over SS he's one of the best fielders out there, I was always just worried about his bat but he showed a lot of progress at it this year. Travis now that's the tough one, never really liked him at 2nd but his bat is one of the bests but he can't stay healthy and I don't think his knee can handle the workload anymore imo he would be a perfect DH but unfortunately with Morales here that won't happen, would hate to lose Travis because of his bat but hard to commit to him if he only can be at 2nd and with injury concerns. Regarding Guerrero and Bichette, Guerrero has been on my radar for a couple years now and very excited to see what he can do, is he MLB ready yet not sure but worth a shot to see but may need another year, same with Bichette definitely a skilled player and is showing signs that he's getting ready to make a push to that next level would I tag him as a MLB starter yet no, but he is definitely worth a call up shot or an opportunity to see if he can make the jump. It's really hard to determine how a prospect will translate to the MLB some have success and thrive off it, and some struggle and just aren't ready, but spring training should be a good idea where they're at next year and make a decision then. -

Definitely going to be a good series, going to be completely honest could go either way no favorite right now after that wild card game, but it's all going to be about pitching. -

Yeah it was looking to be a great game wish I didn't have to leave in the 2nd, but unfortunately it turned out bad damn Yankees, but seeing highlights Yankees were just much stronger. Even if the Jays were able to squeeze into the wild card game against Yankees, Jays would of lost too Yankees definitely look stronger. -

Never even thought of it yet tbh very interesting, but I think I do have him in the top 5, because I only started following the Jays back in late 92-93 but still as a young kid 7-8 years old. This is my top 5. 1. Alomar 2. Halladay 3. Carter 4. Delgado 5. Bautista -

Didn't know this kind of surprised tbh. Stanton is the first player since Jose Bautista in 2010 to hit 54 HRs. He became the first player to slug 54 homers in a season since Jose Bautista did it in 2010. The blast was a 456-foot monstrosity -- the second-longest at SunTrust Park -- with an exit speed of 113.7 mph, per Statcast. The big-league leader is in a fine position to threaten 60 by season's end. https://www.thescore.com/mlb_daily_fantasy/news/1369660 -

Thinking of next year already. What they need 2 SP, keep Stro, Sanchez, Happ, go and sign or trade(I'll get to the trade) to acquire 2 strong pitchers. Relievers they need bad Biagini, can stay in the bullpen. Maybe finding a more powerful closer as well, Osuna isn't the most powerful maybe good 8th inning guy, but when guys hit him they hit him deep. A LEAD OFF Batter should be one of their first things to address, hopefully one that plays the OF, Bautista is gone unless he signs dirt cheap but who really knows. Now this is where I talk about trade to free up some cash and help address the pitching. Tulo imo is someone who should be moved, Goins is showing he is more than capable of taking over SS, and 2nd can be Travis and Barney. Tulo and Bautista gone is I think about $38M, sure could help fill some holes needed. -

All year more like it. Pearce did get robbed by the base ump for a fair ball that was called foul, but still all year they have struggled with RISP. The catch was very nice that's for sure, definitely Superman worth. -

Best part of Raw was definitely Cena roasting Roman, but give credit where credit is due Roman finally after 5 years did cut a Promo, although it won't stand out because Cena killed him haha. -
