  1. Alright this game is just showing their true colors and what they're really made of this year, a must win game and can't even generate a run, this team is done it was a fun couple years, but it's safe to say this team is now done.
  2. It's not worth losing that much offense for pitching, as much as this team needs pitching they need runs as well and taking your best offensive player right now out of your lineup your just asking to fail.
  3. Started game late but Donaldson over throw at first cost the Jays 4 runs brutal.
  4. Carapazza is one who has stood out to me because of the Jays, always reminded me of the Burrows Auger incidents. It's funny because last week I was searching Hernandez and other incidents with other teams because he's just so bad and then this week I see him doing this to the MLB now, funny timing.
  5. That's the big question... And your not the only one asking that, the guy is terrible. Did some research and forgot about Chipper Jones coming out on Twitter about him and that he would never watch a game with him umping, the guy is brutal and I think the reason why he's not in the playoffs is because of his track record not his race, but he doesn't see it like that sadly.
  6. Wow the Jays won a series... was not expecting that, playoffs here we come HAHAHA.
  7. Not that I know of or seen.... Did hear them say he's 1-21 in his last 21 at bats...
  8. Donaldson batting .248 now? I swear like a week ago he was around .300 wow he's dropping fast brutal???
  9. I had just a little left because Smoak and Morales have been able to replace EE and his numbers, but they just lost the little bit I had left.
  10. Bringing in a player that throws his team under the bus, think I just lost all respect for Shatkins
  11. No question Jays were up against one of the top pitchers in Sale today and I wasn't expecting much tbh, but the demeaner of this team looks like it's falling apart which is a very bad sign. A change in the dugout needs to happen immediately and that is finding a new manager and changing this teams mindset to approaching games. It's stale and boring and it's not working and the Manager isn't doing anything to change, just keeps waiting for things to change and it's not going to happen.
  12. Don Cherry and Greg Zaun in the same room tomorrow...... Who will have the better suit?
  13. Yes I'll agree with that on the lead off hitter with speed, they failed big time on that issue, that's been a argument of mine for a long time with this team. These are MLB players, who can hit almost anywhere, it's just the approach that they're taking to the plate is what makes it and with Gibbons it's a free style approach. He does have a say in the matter but he prefers to let his players do there own thing more laid back. I do believe that a different manager who can allow both styles would be better option. When the teams winning and doing well go ahead and swing away, but when the teams struggling just go for base hits and move players around, it's just a matter of telling your players and managing like that.
  14. Well at some point your manager needs to say, alright guys I've given you guys the green light to go up there and do your thing for a while, but it's not working anymore we need a different approach, let's work on just moving the runners 1 base at a time, play some small ball. I believe the manager does have a say in the teams approach to games and not just from hit and runs and bunt signs, but getting it in the players mind to change their approach. And yes blame is also on the players I won't disagree with that, Martin pissed me off the other day after Bautista hit his HR, Martin came to the plate and tried to do the exact same thing and popped up to the infield, just hit the ball.
  15. Zaun did just make a valid point that everyone is trying to hit a HR again instead of small ball, and just hit a line drive instead, and who does that all fall on? Your damn Coach who's to laid back to notice or change their approach at the plate. Gibbons really needs to be gone ASAP, he's just garbage.
  16. Well your right in a way they're starting to lose ground last couple weeks, some how they're still in it luckily, but their next 20 games will be the final decision imo.
  17. Well guess who's back again... Blue Jays bring back Saunders on minor-league deal https://www.thescore.com/news/1303700
  18. I believe that's his goal imo... Every time I see him that thought goes through my mind as well.
  19. It was just a matter of time before this happened tbh. Jason Grilli's flame with the Toronto Blue Jays has been extinguished. The team announced Tuesday the right-hander has been designated for assignment. Grilli, 40, posted a 6.97 ERA in 26 appearances for the Blue Jays this season, averaging 10 strikeouts and 3.9 walks per nine innings. In corresponding moves, the Blue Jays recalled right-hander Chris Smith, optioned outfielder Dwight Smith Jr. to the minors, and activated outfielder Ezequiel Carrera from the disabled list.
  20. Good old video from Zaun when Gibbons was originally rehired, key words Shocked and Gutsy and to hear Zaun say lots of other candidates were available and AA went with Gibbons, a change needs to be made.
  21. Damn something positive about time, now take advantage of this KM NICE!
  22. I still remember when Donaldson first came to the Jays they asked him about his swing and his response was he kind of mimics Bautistas swing, very similar this was a few years ago not sure if it has changed since, but I remember him saying that before.
  23. I have to call out Gibby and his lineup in a must win game. Martin should be catching, Barney or Goins should be playing 3rd base and the other 2nd base, Goins versus a Lefty is still a better chance at a hit then Maile so the argument for the matchup is useless. This is a prime example of a horrible manager in a must win game.
