  1. Cough Cough Pennington... Sure gave him LOTS of time to try and figure things out.
  2. Very frustrating when you know you could of gone another inning, but teams shut you down with the pitch counts, very frustrating for a starting pitcher.
  3. Still think Sanchez is a good pitcher, unfortunately he's had a couple bad outings, hopefully he learns his mistakes and rebounds quick.
  4. Every time I hear that Indians tomahawk song it reminds me of 1992, seeing all the fans in the crowd doing it used to piss me off.
  5. Sounds like the Canucks when they lose to bad teams, and they always say "we ran into a hot goalie tonight"... It was just the backup...
  6. It would be really interesting if Hulk Hogan went to TNA, bring back the NWO, start a rival with WWE. I think it would be great for wrestling, wwe needs a good competition again, this could start it all over again... One can hope!
  7. Well your trying to explain information to me that I already know, and acting like I don't know the game when I clearly do, and your missing my whole point. The lefty-Righty works when the guy can HIT, obviously CP can't hit so how is he the better option? Jezz even Adam Lind hits better against Lefties then CP can, just because you don't want lefty-lefty, you might as well if the guy has a better chance at hitting and clearly they all do over CP. Sometimes you need to evolve, just because it's the most common thing to do in the game, you need to open your eyes and see sometimes it's not the better option anyways.
  8. If you don't think I know baseball and the way the game is played your wrong, I've been playing for 26 years. Yeah I don't have a problem with them doing that if one the player is actually hitting, or two your team is not in a postion for post season and it makes total sense to do it. But when your in a Pennant race, and these are games you need to win no matter what, I don't care you put out the best player available for you to win period. And I'm sorry, but CP is not the best option at the moment and where this team is standing, hence another reason why I have never been a fan of Gibby, some of the moves he makes just all you can do is shake your head. My whole point is he shouldn't even be in ANY games right now, he doesn't help this team to win and that's all that matters right now.
  9. Did you not read past what you highlighted? I know why Gibby is putting him in the game, but it doesn't MATTER because he can't hit anyways. Great switch hitter who went 0-5 and is now batting 0.74, wow that switch hitting is so much better option then Goins or Kawasaki..................NOT.
  10. As a CF myself, I do take control, but I know when my other fielders are in a better position to catch it, I let them and trust them. Pillar doesn't seem to see it like this, and feels he needs to take control way too much, almost as if he doesn't trust his fielders, that's not good on his part.
  11. Yeah your probably right about Goins, but Kawi should be playing over Pennington.
  12. Why is Pennington in the game? He can't even hit against Lefties anyways, Goins or Kawasaki still give you a better chance at bat. Always will dislike Gibbons no matter what.
  13. In the 4th inning it was 4-0, in the past I would of guessed its probably around the 8th or 9th inning, but now your not sure if its the 1st or 2nd still even, this team is pretty stacked and exciting to watch, enjoy it while its here, haven't seen this since 93.
  14. I never liked Gose when he played for us, I felt he needed to mature more, felt like he thought too highly of himself. And I hated that chain he would wear, but after watching him the last couple days, clearly he just doesn't care to become better.
  15. Actually lots of people were saying EE or Bautista, for pitching at the deadline. Things worked out for the best instead.
  16. I still think Revere should be the lead off over Tulo. Tulo isn't a lead off batter that's not his approach, he was never a lead off player why put him in a position he never was before and obviously it's playing with him. Revere on the other hand knows how to make a pitcher work, and the guy has speed. Just move everyone back 1 spot and take the pressure of Tulo, so he can go up there swinging at his pitches. The only other problem is Pennington this guy blows, get him out of there, someone from the Canadians could be a better option at this point.
  17. Read this a couple days ago, but it sounds like Austin is in a way is hinting he wants to do another match, the 2 names out there are John Cena and Sting. Also note: Austin also did a promo on his podcast with Heyman about a match against Brock, but later declined and said it was a mistake to make false hopes for a match a Wrestlemania. Personally I would like to see Austin vs The Rock, if he does have 1 more match.
  18. Ever since Miz took over for Hogan, his choices have ruined the last 2 weeks imo.
  19. Makes sense, but now that he maybe hurt, I don't know. In other news, no Papelbon.
